This late 19th century Chinese carved ivory Guan Yin (goddess of mercy) is 11 ½ inches tall, 2 ½ inches wide and 2 ¼ inches thick. She is standing on a double lotus base. One hand is holding prayer beads, the other is holding a lotus. The workmanship and the quality of the ivory are superb. Besides a few small hairline cracks, it is in excellent condition.

This late 19th century Chinese carved ivory statue is 8 ½ inches tall and 3 ¼ inches at its widest part. It depicts a sage sitting under a pine tree holding a teacup and a book. A young servant holds a teapot standing at his side. The seal on the bottom ¡° Great Ming, Chan Hua¡± is merely an honorific seal. It is in good condition.
Late 19th century Chinese fan shaped ivory carving with stand. One side depicts a well known battle scene from “ A Tale of the Three Kingdoms”; the other side presents an etched picture of two dragons. It is in excellent condition. It is 4 5/8 inches high (7 ¼ inches with stand), 10 ¾ inches wide and half of an inch thick.
This gourd cricket cage is a late 19th or early 20th century product. It is 4 ½” long and 2” wide from the top. The rim and lid were made of ivory and carved hard wood. A gourd is grown inside a carved wooden form(s) to create a patterned or shaped body. This cage does not have pattern or design but has a very nice balanced, shaped and light brown body. The ivory rim and lid are in great condition as well. There are no repairs, chips or crack lines.

This Chinese ivory court tablet is an extremely rare piece. It is a late Ming Dynasty (1368~1642) product. It is almost 19 ½ inches long, ¼ inch thick, 3 inches wide on one end and 2 inches wide on the other end. There are quite a few hairline cracks, several small chips and one repaired split.

A rare sample of Yuan dynasty longquan celadon huge bowl, rounded side with deep center and unglazed foot ring, dish decorated with flower motif on the center and vertical ribbing at inner wall suggesting flower petal motif, covered with good green glaze.
Bowl is broken into several pieces as it found and re-struck, newly excavated from trowulan east java, very good for any one who interested into studying early Chinese porcelain.

This ivory carving of the goddess of mercy, Guan-Yin, is an early 20th century product. It depicts Guan-Yin holding a pearl in one hand and a vase in the other. There is a tiny sitting Buddha in her hair. It is 9” high (with fitted hard wood base it is 10” high), 2 ½” wide and 1 1/8” thick. The carving is superb and it is in excellent condition.
Rare Song - Yuan dynasty longquan celadon big single fish dish, rounded side with flattened rim and glazed base, dish decorated with big single fish motif at interior, outer wall with raised lotus petal motif, covered with good green glaze.
Dish is in good condition with crackeled / crack line at the center, no chip, no restoration.

This very well carved Chinese ivory bead and green glass necklace is a 19th century product. It is 38” long and contains 78 ivory beads and one large glass bead. Originally, carved ivory beads were part of court necklaces in Qing Dynasty. The ivory beads are ½” in diameter; the glass bead is ¾” in diameter. Aside from minor wear due to its age, it is in great condition.
A genuine example of classic Ding ware ( Dingyao ) is rarely seen here at Trocadero.
The sketchy incised design of the " duck in a pond " challenges the imagination.
