This cylindrical seal is fashioned from a very pale yellowish-green soapstone and incised on one end with archaistic characters encircled by a shallow incised ring. Otherwise, the seal is undecorated and has a pleasant, satiny sheen from age and use. There are numerous old small chips and wear to the edges of the carved end but not on the characters. This piece has the mellow appearance of an object that was used over a long period of time...

Description: An archaic jade tube or bead was excavated in a fine condition. By a light mustard-green tint, the jade piece was drilled from both sides by hand-made tool. That made the tunnel narrowed from the open mouth. Manually grinding scars were left obviously on the surface verifying its an ancient piece for sure. Date: Early Spring and Autumn Periods (pre-1600 B.C.E.), Length: 9cm. It is easy to hold in the palm for hand warming exercise. A FITTED SILK BOX IS INCLUDED.

A small belt hook carved from pale celadon colored jade with white and grayish mottling. One side ending in a dragonhead with bulging eyes, the underside with an oval disk for attachment. Condition: one eye chipped. Dimension: 7.1 cm long, weight: 30 g.

Delicately carved round jade box with scene of duck and duckling in a pond. There is a rectalinear border. It measures 2.25" wide by 1.5" tall.

This very well carved white jade (nephrite) Lohan (Arhat) is an early 20th century product. It depicts a Lohan sitting on a rock, his left hand holds a wood stick he is using to clean his ear; his right arm is resting on the rock. With original drilling holes at the tip for hanging, the jade piece was covered with unique black stone crust comparing to milky white tint of the pebble.

This pendant is carved in the shape of a peach and pomegranate in an orange-toned semi-translucent stone, having a slightly reddish tone toward the flower end of the pomegranate. The carving is of flattened low-relief form and the stone has a fairly high polish that has mellowed somewhat from wear. Good condition.

This jade tube is a celadon green with lighter inclusions that create mountain landscape-like patterns throughout. It has a soft even polish overall, including the interior and it is slightly translucent when held to the light. This toggle is carved from a single piece of carnelian agate of a rich brownish-orange tone and utilizes the naturally occurring white layer to produce a cameo of an elderly man, possibly a Taoist figure. There are several holes or pits incorporated into the design, three of which are carved through allowing for attachment to a cord or chain...

A Chinese jade vase of spinach hue with darker splashes; it is carved on both sides of the body with flower head scrolls, the shoulders are decorated with elephant heads and mobile rings. The cover terminates with a knob carved in a fluted design. This 19th century nephrite carving of a fisherman is 3 ¼” high, 2 ¼” wide and 1 ¾” thick. It depicts an old smiling fisherman. His right hand is holding a mulberry branch; his left hand is holding his beard. His straw hat is hanging on his back. He has two fish tied to the ends of the branch and is attempting to put them into a basket at his feet. It is in great condition.

This rare carved jade archaic burial ornament is 4 7/16” long, 1 11/16” high and 3/16” thick. It was carved on both sides. It depicts a stylized beast with small wings, a small long tailed beast is hanging on its body. It has a very nice patina, especially on its tail. It is in great condition.
