A good lacquered bamboo brushpot (Bitong),depicting Shou xing and a deer, delicately painted in a style more commonly seen on large gilt decorated blue glazed vases that are attributed to the late Qianlong/Jiaqing reigns . The inscription reads : "Imitated at (?) Tai Zhengya's Calligraphy Studio of Elegant Living, for his comments". Condition is good - one age related crack and a little wear to the gilding. No further damages/losses.

Lid is carved with a scene of two elderly sages in a rocky landscape with trees and a bridge. The sides are carved overall with a diamond pattern. The interior and base are lacquered black. Some minor age cracks and retouched chips to the interior rim, minor retouching of red lacquer to the rims of the lid and box bottom. General wear—all consistent with and indicative of its age.

This peach shape 19th century cinnabar box is 4 inches high and 8 inches wide. The carved scene depicts one person riding a horse and two other people on foot in the foreground. The background is composed of pine trees, brush and rocks. The sides are decorated with a textile pattern. There are a few old repairs and some chips on the bottom. It is still in pretty good condition.
This early 20th century Chinese export lacquer cinnabar bowl is 3 ½” high and 6 ¾” in diameter. It depicts two dragons flying through the clouds chasing a flaming globe. There is an honorable Qian Long mark on the bottom. Aside from some cracks inside the bowl due to age, it is in great condition.
