A rare set of hors d'oeuvres (nut or sweet) dishes, in fitted hardwood box, painted in black ink in Qianjiang style. The bases of the nine dishes are unglazed. This set was probably made in the second half of the 19th Century during the reign of either the Tongzhi (1863-1874)or the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - very good - no chips,cracks or restoration, but, as is common with Qianjiang painting on porcelain, there is wear to the overglaze decoration of the dishes...

Early Ming Dynasty Chenghua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) blue and white minyao ( peoplesware ) bowl. Very nice watery cobalt blue and waterplant design, all typical for this period . D : 4,1 inc. Perfect condition !

A good sample of Yuan dynasty copper red under glaze yuhuchun vase, rounded side with pear shape body and glazed base, vase decorated with under glaze copper red of flower motif, vase is excavated from trowulan east java.
Vase condition is broken into several big pieces about 30 % missing and has been restored into original condition, please see enlargement no 6 for picture before restoration.

Longquan stoneware vase of an archaic bronze gu or zun form, with a wide mouth and everted rim. The vase has ge type of golden celadon glaze. An export blue and white plate decorated with a bird and floral patterns. Kangxi period (1662-1722). Marked with an Artemisia leaf. Diameter 27 cm. The silver handle was added in 1854 by the wellknown Dutch silversmith J.M. van Kempen in Utrecht(later in Voorschoten). A rare Yuan dynasty 14th century double gourd ewer with cover, rounded side with double gourd shape and unglazed base, this ewer decorated with under glaze iron spots with qingbai glaze.
Ewer is in good condition with spout broken off and re attach and covered with silver mounted, complete condition on handle and bodies still original.
