Late Ming Dynasty, ca. 1600
Glazed with turquoise, amber and green enamels, this laughing Buddha holds his large belly with one hand, and clasps a rosary in the other. The back is unglazed and a stabilized hairline extends from the foot to the top of the base. There is a collection inventory number incised on the rear base and there is a small chip to the foot. It is accompanied by a later carved wooden base.

Antique Chinese Jun Ware cup with flower form dish to act as a holder. The thick, opalescent sky blue glaze has white speckling and several splashes of rosy purple with wonderful crackling.
The Jun glaze is a complex blue glaze which was developed in Henan province during the the Northern Song and Jin dynasties, occasionally with red streaks. Jun wares have their name after Jun zhou from where it originated...

This is a superb Chinese yixing teapot bell shaped with brass mount on the teapot rims & finial on red clay. There are tea stains in the interior of the teapot & spout area. The teapot condition is excellent! It's signed & inscribed on the base.
Wonderful Chinese Yixing box with crayfish on lid, cylindrical body with seal on bottom, round lid is made of black clay with highly raised red yixing crayfish, beautiful detail and large imperial mark with writing on the inside of lid.

This is one of the first tea bowls in Japan, which came together with the first tea from China. It is a Chinese Jian Tenmoku Tea Bowl of the oil-spot type. These bowls were produced in large quantities for the general public as well as for the imperial court between the 10th and and the 13th century in the Fujian province.
This type with the flaring mouth is relatively rare and is shaped in James M. Plummers: Temmoku (Tokyo, 1972), p.63...

A green-glazed vase was well potted and was painted on the surface with black motif of peony flower.
It was preserved in perfect condition with finely spread crackles due to age.
Irridescent reflection can be observed too.
Some burial adhesives were kept at the foot bottom.
