This is a late Qing period crystal snuff bottle. On the shoulder of the snuff bottle it is curved with the design of Ruyi and the body that of the petals of the lotus and at the base it is surrounded all round with the lappets of the lotus. A very nice and elegant as well as well curved crystal snuff bottle. Cir. late Qing 19th/20th century.

Antique Chinese Peking glass snuff bottle. Overlay glass in red, yellow and dark blue on a white glass ground. A bird sits on a branch heavy with fruit. Lovely continual scene, beautifully carved with great detail and depth. Four small cartouches in red glass overlay. The lid is made of quartz and has a bone spoon.

This is a well-hollowed, Flattened, Circular form, nephrite Snuff Bottle of even Celadon color with wavy russet veins that seem to just appear from the left to form shrub-like forms that serve as its natural decoration; flare neck, wide flat mouth, and an oval rectangular raised footing...

Antique snuff bottle made from beautifully hand-carved peking glass with a smokey clear-tone body, dipped into vibrant green and white glass. One side of the bottle shows a hawk perched upon a branch with blooming flowers, and the other side shows a dog pup gazing up at the bird. Has a jade topper. Signed with a cartouche, dates from early 20th century. Size: 3.5" tall, 1.5" wide

Early 19th Century, Green Overlay Glass Snuff Bottle This is a very fine, flattened, circular form, with a round elongated neck that is encircled by a collar of acanthus leaves, over a raised oval footing, snuff bottle. It is covered with a rich green overlay glass on snowflake glass, decorated with a fine relief carving of a clump of Bamboo on one side, and a pair of Lotus flowers on the other. A large Chinese snuff bottle, well hollowed, carved from a celadon jade pebble with brown sections. The front side showing a relief of a monkey at a vine. The stopper is made from turqoise glazed ceramic with bone spoon. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension: total length: c. 9.3 cm, c. 5.5 cm wide, c. 3.2 cm deep.

An ivory snuff bottle in the form of of an attractive lady of status carrying a fan. The head can be removed to reveal the snuff. Probably Japanese work for the Chinese market at the end of the 19th century.

Circa 1870s hand carved and highly polished rock crystal and purple amethyst snuff bottle. Carved in good medium relief is a maiden carrying a poled basket with reverse having a flycatcher in the lower right corner amongst a landscape (but it is very hard to make out due to the sheen). In excellent condition, the bottle measures 2 7/8" high and 1 3/4" wide.

This is a stunning Ruby Red Glass Snuff Bottle, finely carved in relief with the twelve Chinese Zodiac Animals. Rounded body with a leafy lappet border around the neck, and a raised oval footing. Coral and brass stopper.

Early 19th century (can be as early as 18th) Chinese porcelain snuff saucer in round shape with underglaze blue splash on the top. Roughly made, which has its own charm, wonderful color splash, beautiful patina, in great condition for an old piece. Diameter 1 3/16 inches.

This very well designed hand carved early 20th century Chinese ivory snuff bottle of a shape of a corn is 3 ½ inches high and 1 ½ inches wide from bottom. It depicts a beetle resting on an ear of a corn. It is in great condition.

This snuff bottle is molded in the form of a wine pot which is secured in a woven basket. It is inscribed with the wine maker¡¯s name De Run Zheng and the name of the wine Zhuang Yuan Hong. The seal mark is Yong Zheng period but is considered as Tong Zhi or Guang Xu period (1862~1908). It is 3 inches tall and 1 ¾ inches at the widest part. Beside some small chips on the woven part, it is in good condition.

Antique Chinese Glass snuff bottle with stunning white swirls and striations throughout and a jadeite stopper. Peking glass originally made to look like agate. 19th Century Size: 2.75" height, 1.25" width, .75" thickness

It is amazing that about half of the snuff still remains in this bottle. Lacking a stopper, it was stuffed with tissue when we received it. We added the stopper for display purposes. The scene surrounding the bottle depicts a person riding a buffalo towards a mountain range while pointing behind him to the man with an umbrella. The bottle has a network of crackles stained over to a pale brownish tone. There are some pin pricks from firing, maybe bits of ash. Dates 1800s. 3 inches high.

Two flying bats with spread wings decorate one side of the bottle. The transparency of the tea-colored crystal enables the observe to see parallel spiral lines left by the tool used to carve the well-done internal cavity of the bottle.
