Around the sides and inside the bowl are flying dragons with sharp claws and cloud designs. This late 19th century Chinese moss green jade pi is 8 inches in diameter and half inch thick. One side is carved with a landscape scene depicting two horses drinking water in a river. The other side is plain. The jade pi fits in a custom made wood stand. It is in excellent condition.

Chinese Silver Pouch shape Pendant, Ca. 1920, 1 3/8" wide, 1" high, 1/2" deep, etched low relief of Chinese Character on one side, flower pedal on the other side, all in one piece, the condition is good.

Chinese Qing carved jade figure, depicting standing Buddha in russet color, holding beads with the right hand, from late 19th century period, height of carving is 4.5 inches, condition is consistent with age, no imperfections noted.

 

A large porcelain barbed bowl decorated with flowers, birds, fingered citrons, bamboo and other motifs with famille rose enamel and gilt in Imary style. 18th century, Kangxi period. Condition: glaze scratches, enamel and gilt losings; rim glaze bursts as commonly seen on Kangxi wares, plus a few small glaze chips on the rim and one very short kiln crack. It is 1.9 inches (4.9 cm) tall by 9.4 inches (24 cm) wide. It weighs 1.1 lb.

It has dark spots, rubbing of gold and paint, skip glazes, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

This circular-form lidded box is of a type found widely distributed throughout Southeast Asia as a Chinese trade item exchanged for spices, pearls, precious metals produced by the various foreign island cultures. Small boxes such as this one were possibly intended for cosmetics or spice storage. This box is painted with a stylized flower on the lid surrounded by a hastily-painted leaf border. The base is likewise painted with two abstract floral designs...
