18C Chinese Enameled and Molded Porcelain Snuff Bottle Jiaqing Mark and Period The sides are molded in high relief with two scenes from a traditional Chinese story. It comes with a jadeite stopper. Size: 7.5 cm tall, 5.3 cm wide, 2.9 cm thick Condition: Some pigment loss, nicks on the mouth rim and base rim.

Porcelain decorated with floral spray in the center and petal lappets with scroll on the exterior. Diameter = 30.5 cm. Periode : 15th- 16th Century Condition : a hairlines to the rim and free from restoration.

DESCRIPTION: A Chinese scholar’s calligraphy brush, the brush crafted with natural bristles encased in a horn ferrule. These are secured with a silver band to a pitted green jade handle inscribed with archaic characters and terminating in a round knob. A quality, well made brush in excellent condition, most likely dating to the latter Qing Dynasty to early republic Period. DIMENSIONS: 9 ¼” long (23.5 cm).

A Song/Yuan Black-Glazed Jar. Covered with a brown-black glaze. Diameter approximately 11.2 cm and height approximately 5.3 cm. There is a soft tiny chip at the rim. Good condition.

This set of 4 matching Chinese toggles were hand carved from animal bone, probably the vertebra. Each side is carved with an identical design which continues around the side. They are well aged and show both wear and usage. As artifacts from the folk art culture, they were probably carved by the person who intended to use them to secure his personal items. Each piece is approx 1 inch in diameter and .5 inches thick.

This unusual carved ivory export cosmetic box is an early 19th century product. The hibiscus (or maybe peony) and its buds, leaves and branch were very carefully carved over the entire box. It is 3 ½” high and 4 ½” in diameter. It is in excellent condition.

Ca. 1800s

This brush pot displays shallow carving with incising utilizing the natural “skin” of the bamboo to depict a scene of tortoise, cranes, and pine as a wish for longevity. The carver's name is incised beneath the pine tree. It is in good condition and has a nice patina. There is some wear to the interior from use. Acquired in London in the mid 1980s.

Chinese yixing serving set decorated with enameled butterfly and flower motive. 40cm comlete diameter. 16,5cm center dish diameter. Good conditions except three dishes has small chipped on the corner. no crack, no hairlines and free from any restorations.
