Very large Qianlong Buddha made of solid bronze, with rests of gilding and a temple lion, marked Qianlong on the back. Weight 4,4 kg. No cracks, no repairs.

An early 18th Century deep dish with very fine porcelain body decorated in underglaze blue depicting a four clawed dragon, amongst cloud scrolls, in pursuit of a flaming pearl. This item was made in Jingdezhen, Jianxi province, during the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1723 - 1735). Condition - there are two hairline cracks (1.7 and 1.5 inches) and associated chips and frits to the rim in the area facing the dragon's right claw (please see enlargement no. 4). A lovely Qianlong famille rose export plate, decorated in a profusion of pastel colors, featuring squirrels climbing flowering branches...

Buddha in bronze cast with lost wax and gilded with mercury. The walls are very thick, the statuette is heavy. The gilding is original, certainly baked several times to obtain a nice thickness. The reverse of the dress is chiseled with stylized flowers. The base is closed by an incised copper plate of Vajra. The base does not appear to have been opened. The two arm bracelets were originally to have stone beads, today replaced by a colored coating...
