A Chinese Canton enamel dish vividly panted with two cockerels beside flowers issuing from rockwork within a border of plum flowers, cracked ice, ruyi heads and waves, the reverse with three flower sprays. Qianlong, 18th century. 23 cms diam. One small area of restoration to the white on the back of the rim. Otherwise in good condition bar the odd usual stress crack.

A classic Kangxi period lotus form dish, molded and formed to resemble an open lotus flower, and painted with radiating panels framing a central medallion. The painting workmanship is wistful and full of charm.

A Set of Six Export Plates. Each decorated in the centre in underglaze blue with three geese on rocks with another in flight above. The rim with chrysanthemum, carnation, peony, pomegranate, melon and finger citron in iron red, gilding and green enamels. Qianlong C1760. Diameter: 9″ (22.9 cm) Condition: some minor fritting. One plate with some crazing to the centre and a 1.6 cm glaze crack to the underside rim, another with a shallow 0.65 cm flake to underside rim.

This is a Qing Dinasty, 18th/19th century, Flattened, Rectangular form tapering towards base snuff bottle, with rounded shoulders, flared short neck, and raised oval footing. It has a deep, rich spinach-green color with dark mottling. It is excellently carved in-relief, all around, with birds perching on leafy Chrysanthemum branches rising from rocks...

From our Shipwreck Porcelain Collection, a fine blue and white dish, ex-Christie's, executed in the "Peony and Pomegranate Pattern" from the so-called "Nanking Cargo," which is the term applied to the porcelain recovered from the wreck of the Geldermalsen that sank on January 3rd, 1752. The Geldermalsen was a cargo ship belonging to the Dutch East India Company that struck a reef on its way back from Canton China, and sank off the coast of Indonesia in the Linnga archipelago...

Circa 1750. A very beautiful and petite vegetable tureen. This is just gorgeous, with bright colors and well painted florals, all of which is beautifully intact. The only damage is the one handle has been re-stuck. The other details to mention is very minor frits along the outer edge of the lid, which is a common production fault with Chinese porcelain in the first couple decades of the 18th century, other than that this tureen is in excellent shape...

Mid 1700s

This lidded jar is painted with two lion dogs frolicking among peony flowers, all on an imperial yellow ground. The lid is similarly decorated with a single peony bloom. Both the interiors of the jar and lid are unglazed showing the fine white paste. The inset base is covered in a thin clear glaze with an incised double ring. The footring is unglazed and there is minor soiling to it and to the interior of the jar...

18th C. Well hollowed, Rare Natural Cherry Amber (a form of Jet) Snuff Bottle This is a very fine, flattened, rounded rectangular form Snuff Bottle with a round, elongated neck, rounded sloping shoulders, and raised recessed elongated oval footing. Made of a rare red or natural Cherry Amber, which is thought to be another form of Jet. The bottle is well-hollowed, with very thin walls, thus, very light in weight. It is transparent, with a cherry red color...

Perfectly potted body in the shape of a Bronze age Hu vase, excellent Celadon glaze with a top bluegreen colour. A excellent piece of the Qing Dynasty Qianlong period ( 1736 - 1795 ). H : 15,3 cm. Condition : The glazed areas in an absolute perfect condition. 2 small from the outside invisible chips to the inside of the unglazed footrim .

An underglaze blue decorated porcelain coffee cup, painted with flowers and butterflies. This item was made in Jingdezhen, China, for export to Europe, during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795). Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration. 5.5cm (2.2inches0 high; 6.5cm (2.5inches) diameter.

A heavily cast Chinese gold splash bronze two-handled bombe censer on slightly flared foot. Some wear, good old patina. 13 cms wide. Mid Qing dynasty, probably 18th century, Xuande mark.

Pair of Famille Rose Soup Plates, the centre decorated in bright enamels with two figures in a landscape within a leaf shaped panel. The border with flowers, storks and landscapes. C1730/45. Diameter 22.7 cm. Condition: excellent, the first with two small shallow chips to underside of rim, the second with a 0.4 cm shallow chip to underside.

A large Kangxi period famille verte charger, decorated with radiating lotus panels faming floral sprigs and rockwork. The vibrant enamels and porcelain paste is fairly representative of the mid-Kangxi reign. The color palette is however a revival of late Ming wucai pieces...

A Ge - glazed porcelain jar with cover. Excellently potted with a nice Ge - type cracled glaze. The unglazed base covered with a dark slip. Yongzheng Period, eighteenth century. H : 15,7 cm. ( Without cover : 13,6 cm. Diameter : 12,8 cm. Condition : Perfect. Provenance : Old German collection.
