Futonji with tsutsugaki (glue resist dye by free hand) made of hand spun cotton. It has traditional "Karajishi-Botan", imaginary lion and peony motif. The green ground cloth is dyed with vegetable indigo and natural yellow, the painting is colored with pigments. It is remade to futonji from originally yogi, which is a futon in the shape of kimono. The tsutsugaki technique is excellent and in excellent condition. Meiji period (1868~1912).

Early Joseon dynasty (1392-1897) Korean Mishima tea bowl with Japanese appraisal box

Such bowls were exported to Japan since Momoyama period where they were used for tea ceremony giving the birth of Japanese Mishima ware.

The glass snuff bottle shows the four sea-dragons swimming in the sea. This probably represent the four seas.Each of the dragon have four claws which represents royalty but not imperial. The colour of the snuff bottle is of dark orange colour. The base has a honorific Qianlong mark to the base. Cir. late 19th century, likely to be dated to the Guangxu (1875-1908) period.

Old, Authentic Tibetan Pair of jha-phor, Butter Tea Bowl, Tsampa Bowl, made of Burlwood and finished with silver around the rim for the larger one and on the inside for the smaller, also at the raised foot of the cups. Diameter: 11 cm and 9 cm. High 5 cm and 4,5 cm ca. Tibet, Late 19th cent. The bowls are in very good condition and have a nice patina from use.

An antique Japanese Kasane Tansu (stacking 2 section chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Kakute handles. Full moon lock plates with quarter and semi-circular front drawer corner plates that accentuates the theme. Constructed using straight dovetail joinery and hardened wooden nails. A white glazed Yingqing type plain bowl with unglazed rim. Southern Song Dynasty. Condition with tiny chip to rim, no any cracks and free from any restoration. Diameter: 16 cm.

This is good-quality Yogi of Tsumugi-Silk used in the Tohoku district at the end of Edo period. Yogi which it is polychromatic, and was dyed is an upper item. This is one of the upper wedding ceremony items. As for this, basics are dyed in indigo plant and Kariyasu. At first this is dyed in Tsutsugaaki, and 90% are finished, and a part of the tiger is pictured freehand carefully successively...

A shipwreck Late Tang to Early Sung Green glaze celadon plate, incised toaism or lingzi pattern, unglazed ring among the green glaze. It is in good condition no damage, no crack, small manufacturing chip/defect, no restoration except glaze corossion cause by sea water.

Description:

A celadon ewer or water dropper was intriguingly mold as chicken pot.
By cute-looking spout and simple-form wings, the porcelain pot was applied with glass-sheen glaze all over the surface.
On the unglazed bottom, the dense-feel clay was revealed and was with adhesives of burial earth.
Crackles and abrasions were resulted from incursions too.
It was kept in very fine condition...
