A Japanese iron garden lantern often referred to as a toro. Often these lanterns are placed within a garden setting to guide guests towards a tea house or an entrance to a building. The iron lantern contains a short inscription with the date when the piece was made (first year of Taisho, 1912) and that the lantern was made by Yojiro. Striking antique Siam mid to late 19th. century Ayutthaya Kampheng head of Buddha Sakyamuni (The Awakened One). His face with serene expression, closed eyes, aquiline nose, smiling lips and elongated earlobes with earrings.
The head is hollow inside and mounted on a wood base. It has a weight of almost 6 kg. No repairs, good condition.

This is a very fine and extremely detailed Japanese satsuma vase. It was made by Kinkozan but the style reminds me more of a Ryozan piece. It is signed on the underside with an impressed mark. It stands 7 1/2 inches tall and in 4 3/4 inches wide. The vase is in excellent condition.

Up for sale is an antique Chinese Qing dynasty Manchu woman's silk robe embroidered with peonies and butterflies onto a midnight blue silk ground, together with the embroidered collar, trims, and sleeve bands; backed with light blue lining.
Overall, it is in very good condition and consistent with its age; minor stainings in the sleeve bands, minor lining tears aroud collar and bottom...
Up for sale is this wonderfully textured 19th century Japanese cast iron tea kettle made by noted Kyoto-school tetsubin craftsman Kibundo ( 1812-1892 ).
It is cast in high relief with the image of writings and a landscape.
This fine kettle bears the body-mark “Kibundo zo” and a remnant of the square seal mark of Kibundo on the bottom.
The quality of the relief casting is superb...
