This mid. 19th century Japanese Imari (Aka-e) vase is almost 10 ½” high and 4 ¾” on widest part. There are two sections; one depicts a painted phoenix, butterfly and maple tree, the other depicts a geisha holding an umbrella standing in front of iris and hanging flowers. The rest of the vase is decorated with floral and textile designs. It is in perfect condition.

Beautiful Japanese altar tansu with gilt lacquer floral motifs along many front drawers, each with a mokko style handle. Two sliding doors line the top with gold ocean scenery. Two hinged doors with gilt inlay court figures bear the signature seal of the artist. Behind the two doors are three nishiji lacquer drawers with wonderful gilt fish and octopus surrounded with shells. The interior of each door is also in nishiji lacquer with gilt lacquer boats...

The body of this antique Miao Chinese powder horn is carved with large spider web, small foo dogs, and clouds. The stopper is carved into a lotus blossom. The Miao believe that passed relatives take the form of spiders to visit and watch family members, so spider webs are left undisturbed in the home. This horn is from Kali area and is in excellent condition. It is 80-90 years old and approx 9" long.

The idea of a Fukusa gift cover comes from the old Japanese tradition of gift presentation. Fukusa began to be decorative as well as practical in the Edo period (1600 to 1868). Ancient Moche solid cast silver Tumi Sceptre c 300 AD with Warriors or high priest Lords. Fine sculpture and casting with inlaid stone eyes headdress ear flairs and shields. Xrf testing done for content appraised and authenticated by Lowell Collins with paperwork. The sceptre came from a 1960s Texas collection. Weight is 292g silver and is 9.5" long and 2 ' wide at the top.

Chinese Tang Dynasty small round box made of silver and gold. Repouse designs of floret surrounded by tiny flowers. The design on the top side of the box is smaller and more intricate while the bottom of the box has a similar floret but simpler. The rim of both top and bottom is delineated by a raised ring and is encircled by scrolling vines and tiny flowers. Size: 2 1/4" wide x 1 1/4" high

An underglaze blue and overglaze red decorated bowl depicting two five clawed dragons - each in pursuit of a flaming pearl. The base carries the six character mark of the Kangxi emperor but this item was probably made later, during the 19th Century. Condition - there is an old 0.2 inch (0.5cm) hairline to the rim and there are losses to the overglaze red decoration...

A fine antique Chinese child's collar with stitch work and fine knitting on the edge. The shawl collar is decorated with auspicious motifs of bats, butterflies, geese, and flowers. The collar is often seen in Chinese fashion during the Qing Dynasty where women wore the collars during formal or auspicious occasions. Age: Qing-Republic Period Size: length 18.5" height 16"

16th Century Chinese White Jade Carved Plaque with Dragon Table Screen

It is 7.3 inches (18.5 cm) tall by 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide measured with stand. The plaque is 2.5 inches (6.3 cm) in length by 3.1 inches (8 cm) wide. It is 203.8 gram including stand.

It has flea bite chips, inclusions and surface wears and scratches. It has missing piece at the wood stand (as seen in the photos).
