Large wooden tray used at Jeju Island, Korea, early 20th century, approx. D 34 x H 4cm (13.38 x 1.57in). Aesthetically rustic form with such particular thick rim with mellow chisel marks. Aged deterioration as is, with some scratches and cracks...

This middle or late 19th century snuff bottle has a white background and is hand painted in copper red and cobalt blue with an old sage and his servant. It is 3 inches tall and 1½ inches wide. The cap and spoon are replacements (not in the picture). It is in good condition.

Antique Chinese bamboo arm rest with carvings depicting a deer rests on a rock under a tree with lingzhi in his mouth. 19th Century. The arm rest is in good antique condition. Length: 7-3/4"; width: 2-1/2".

Used antique Chinese inkstone with a carving of a peach at its most shallow point. Peaches are said to be heavenly fruit that promote longevity. Khmer brown glazed pottery lime-pot in the form of owl with a stepped, moulded beak, eyes and tailbrown glaze stopped at the foot. This kind of lime-pot was mainly used in Khmer people's daily life in the ancient time, as can be seen on the stone sculpture on the wall of Bayon and Angkor Vat Prasart (Temple).

Chinese Turquoise color Monochrome Pottery hand molded 2 handle Dragon Vase, Ca. 17th C. Ming, 8" high, 6" wide for point to point hexagonal bottom, 4 1/4" wide for top include two(2) handles. The bottom is not glazed. There are some small glaze chips, very common for this type of monochrome glazed pottery.

Rare early “si zhi” (four straight lines) style inkstone carved from an old fired brick. The characters on the brick are in an archaic style, no longer in use today. The square shaped flat bottomed inkstone with sloping grinding surface did not become popular until the Song Dynasty, so it is possible this was made into a inkstone long after it was a brick. Chinese are very fond of creating ink stones out of “found objects” such as roof tiles etc...

A lovely Japanese Kutani porcelain tea caddy with bird and floral motif accented with gold gilt on a pink ground. Measures 4.5 inches high and about 3.75" diameter.

Hemp cloth for child's ceremonial kimono with katazome (stencil-resist-dye) and hand-painting, the technique is called Kata-Yuzen. The weft and warp are hand plied. Both long cloths have cuts in the center for the neck and front cloth is narrower than back cloth. Generally, in good condition except for a bit of color fading. 19th century. Early 19th century lacquered wood netsuke of a boy climbing onto a huge double gourd. Nice subject (most probably a reference to a rebus), excellent face with a wide smile. Wood is lacquered in Negoro style - red lacquer over black, so as it wears the black and later wood start showing. Wear consistent with age, wonderful patina. Length 1.85 inches.
