This pair of marked Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Famille Rose plates are 1 inch deep and 6 ¾ inches in diameter. They depict a long-tail bird and butterfly in a flower garden. The workmanship is wonderful. The gold edging has worn off slightly. There is one small hairline crack in one plate and an old repair in the other one.

This cream-white glazed vase is covered overall with a network of fine crackles stained over time with a pale brownish tone. The small meiping form tapers gracefully from a broad shoulder to a narrow waist and flares out again at the base. The base is glazed leaving the slightly rounded footring unglazed. The interior is glazed and the crackle pattern continues inside the neck. Vases like this one were used in the scholar’s studio. Good condition, no damages...

It is #22 in a series called Sono sugata Yukari no usushi-e, or "Stories of Reincarnated Beings". In the center of the print there is a young child, hunched forward as he eagerly listens to stories from an adult woman in a pink kimono with blue and grey sleeves, with a sheathed sword across her lap. A bowl of treats and a black lamp with flowers sits between them...

A rare Yuan dynasty iron spots very large melon shape ewer, rounded side with globular body and unglazed base, ewer decorated with under glaze iron spots motif, two lugs on the neck and covered with qingbai glaze.
Ewer is in good condition with restoration on the spout and handle, no damage no chip, no crack on the body, still a very desirable piece for collection, its very rare to find a Yuan melon shape ewer in this very large size.
