Whimsical rendering of a high relief horse (uma) tied to a pine trunk. The horse is completely harnessed with its kura and abumi fittings. The finish is untouched showing signs of age and patina.

"Bun-in" is the last kiln for Joseon court.
And there, high quality and sophisticated works were made.
The chamfered vase is very rare on late Joseon.
This piece is seemed to be made at a folk kiln in Bun-in.

Finely crafted silver necklace with Gao box hanger in solid silver mounted with polished corals and toquise stones and centrally firegilt, Tibetan, 19th to early 20th. century.
Very pure silver and wearable today. Mounted in a long twisted silver necklace. Beautiful piece!

Full cast roe deer with elongated body, the curved neck slightly prone. Pointed tail. The head small and pointed, horns and ears cut out in an X-shape. Thin legs with kinked hooves. Right hind leg broken off.

Rare Ming porcelain classic “eight trigram” design censer from the Jingdezhen kiln, with celadon glaze, on three small feet. This is easily mistaken for a stoneware Longquan ware, so please view last enlargements to see the white clay showing through the unglazed portion, unlike the grayish clay from Longquan. Antique, early 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty Canton enameled copper Famille rose box and cover. The top and two sides are finely hand-painted with colorful enamel against a white ground, depicting ladies and attendants at leisure on the garden terrace in rectangular panels. All surrounded by roses with leafy branches on a cobalt blue ground.
The other two sides have the "Shou" emblem painted in brown enamel with gold borders.

A celadon ewer or water dropper was intriguingly mold as chicken pot.
By cute-looking spout and simple-form wings, the porcelain pot was applied with glass-sheen glaze all over the surface.
On the unglazed bottom, the dense-feel clay was revealed and was with adhesives of burial earth.
Crackles and abrasions were resulted from incursions too.
It was kept in very fine condition...
