This mid. 19th century Japanese Imari (Aka-e) vase is almost 10 ½” high and 4 ¾” on widest part. There are two sections; one depicts a painted phoenix, butterfly and maple tree, the other depicts a geisha holding an umbrella standing in front of iris and hanging flowers. The rest of the vase is decorated with floral and textile designs. It is in perfect condition.

This extremely rare 6 1/2" angular owl effigy pipe was found by Dr. Allen Heflin in 1958 at the Tzintzuntzan, Michoacan site in Mexico. It is type 3A. The pupil of the right eye is missing. This is truly a fabulous pipe of which only a few exist in private collections.
A rare Pyu carved green glass pendant with a figure of a man on the front and some writing on the back. Next to the glass pendant there are two small stone carved elephants. The rest of the necklace is made up of ancient gold and an assortment of gold and agate beads of the same period.

Antique Japanese small gyosho bako (merchant safe box) made of Kiri (paulownia) wood in original red lacquer finish and black lacquer frame. Old working key included to unlock the front door to reach two drawers within. The top has raised edges with iron braced holes to securely carry the box.
