Up for sale is this special example of the beauty of Raku ware, a pottery tradition born more than 400 years ago in the ancient Japanese capital of Kyoto, from the collaboration between great tea master Sen Rikyu (1522-1591) and a potter named Chojiro ( - 1592), the forebear of the great Raku family of potters.

A magnificent and rare Amida Nyorai bronze Buddha, made in the early Edo Period, which means in the early 17th. century. This statue was made in a way called lost-wax metal casting, also known as Rougata Chuuzou, which was popular only in the 6th. century and in the Edo time.
The statue is in good antique condition with no repairs or cracks.

This lovely antique bell is a traditional Ghanta, which is a Tibetan Buddhist ritual bell, sometimes called Dril, bu,and/or singing bell. Just over 6 inches tall, this Ghana is paired with the Dorje at the top of the handle, and the surface is decorated with an abundance of Tibetan symbols. This bell has the original clapper, has a lovely tone and beautiful patina. Bell is 6.5 inches (16.5 CM) tall

18th - 19th Century Detailed Chinese carved greenish-gray jade of deer with bird and flowers. Exquisitely carved and sculpted with fine details, with no defects to speak of. Flowers with multiple stems embracing as the bird sits atop the deers back.

This is a very attractive Japanese Imari bowl. For an old Imari piece it is in excellent condition. It is also a very heavy piece potted. The bowl measures 8 1/2 inches across and 4 inches tall.

This is Tsutsugaki used in the Tohoku district. This was dyed with an indigo plant.
As for it, dark blue and light blue contrast are fair. The cotton spun by hand has good texture. The local custom, the way of thinking affect the motif of Tsutsugaki. It is a very rare thing to adjust the hanging scroll of the letter to a theme happy. It is simple and sturdy, and this area assumes rusticity economy the history. A rare Ming dynasty 17th century bronze figure of immortal Ang Hai Jie riding a qilin, good condition no damage, large size in 33 cm height weight about 4 kg.
This is the rarest cricket cage of its kind to be found, as it is made of tortoise shell, the cap is possible horn and is capped with mother-of-pearl shell on which is a carved four toed dragon that covers a solid gold wire mesh to prevent the naughty cricket from escaping. This cricket cage is in very good antique condition and measures 4" (10.2 cm).
A fabulous Japanese cloisonne vase purchased from the 1893 Chicago Exhibition. Inside the vase is an old decaying leaflet given to the buyers by the exhibitors. On a fragment one of the massive vases displayed by Suzuki can be seen on this paper (See image). There is more to this faded image on the reverse buy it is hard to see. This superb ivory carving of an aristocratic young woman holding a child is a mid or late Meiji period (1868~1911) product. The woman is formally dressed in a kimono decorated with patterns and floral designs. Her hair is elaborately coiffed. She holds a boy in her left arm and a parasol in her right hand. The child is holding a branch of chrysanthemum. The piece is very well executed and stands 10 ¼” high, 4” wide and 3 1/8” thick (measured from the bottom)...
