A large porcelain Jubaku consisting of four tiered containers with cover decorated with a karakusa ground in yellow and green enamels inset with auspicious figures of Chinese boys, karako, and reserves containing Peonies and rocks, traditional symbols of the arrival of Spring. These jubako was used specifically during the New Year festival. The containers measure approximately 25cm high and 18.5cm in diameter and weighs 2.810kg in total weight. Shipping at Cost.
