In the style of Ogata Korin, this tall-sided tray is lacquered black over a wood core. The decoration is rendered in raised lacquer in the Rinpa School manner after Korin. It displays a gnarled stump of a plum tree sending out shoots with blossoms and buds raised in gold lacquer, as well a inlaid flowers and buds in iridescent abalone mother of pearl...
A wood panel was well framed as a hanging piece.
The panel was carved in high-relief with a scenery exemplifying the well-wished Chinese metaphor-家有吉象The Family with Good Life .

A Chinese snuff bottle made in repoussed silver with some guilloche decoration and colorful enamel, gilt rims. Showing two young ladies, one is playing the flute. The stopper is en suite, bone spoon. Condition: traces of usage, wear to gilding, little verdigris. Dimension: height: c. 6.3 cm.
A n ancient style jade nephrite bangle with the stylised dragon n eave
Intricate carved wall panel circa late 19th/early 20th century, with peach blossom and chrysanthemum floral medallions carved into hexagonal and cruciform shaped lattice work. A carved ivory container, cylindrical and lidded, with dragons chasing the flaming pearl. Chinese, late Qing, c 1900. Height including lid "3¾/ 9,8 cm. Condition: the lid lacks its knop and the foot rim border a tip.
Song dynasty ribbed jar with light green crackled glaze. Some small chips to the glaze around the rim. Diameter: 3.25 inches, height: 2.75 inches.
A complete smoking pipe in the Turkish style with red clay pipe bowl, maybe made in Europe, with gilt metal mountings. Stamped. The wooden stem with velvet and metal mountings is ending in a yellow glass mouthpiece. Condition: traces of usage, wear to velvet and gilding, mouthpiece with a chip. Dimension: total length 23.8 cm.
Small statue of legendary poet Li Bai (or Li Po), seated and sleeping beside a wine jar. Old ivory. China, end of 19th century. Height: 5 cm. Length of base: 6 cm. The statue is sold with its custom wood stand. Very good condition.
A cute Kutani ware incense box and cover (Kogo) in the form of a mandarine duck (Oshidori) in typical Kutani color pallet: green, yellow, blue and black. The bottom part with Kutani stamp at the base. Enclosed in an inscribed old tomobako. L 8,5 H 5 cm.

Lovely black lacquer Japanese vase with 2 crickets. On the back side is a red dot (2 gold dots are on the front), a very interesting and subtle design element. Note in the photos, there is some minor chipping around base. Measures: 8.5" high, 4.25" across shoulder.
Small phosphatic glazed earthenware jar with double handles. Reddish brown clay covered with dull black glaze with several mottled white glaze splashes. Jun-type pottery as made in the Tang dynasty, China, 19th century or earlier.
Height 5 ¾ inches (14.9 cm).
Black glaze dull, showing water streaks, one chip on back of one of the loop handles, some dirt residue. Otherwise good condition.

Antique Japanese beige ceramic crackleware satsuma pilgrim vase, Meiji period 1868-1912. It is beautifully painted with two different scenes. The front and reverse are painted with a wheat plant in a field of chrysanthemums. The sides have cherry blossoms blooming in a stylized wave pattern. The mouth of the vase is square shaped, the base is rectangular. It measures 10" tall, 7.25" widest 2" deep.
