This is a very well preserved bronze sword or dagger from ancient Luristan (circa 1000BC). Overall this piece is in great condition. The flanges on the handle that would have held the inlaid bone,wood or ivory grip are mostly intact (except for one) which is fairly unusual for this type of weapon. This piece measures 353mm and weighs 135 grams. It has a choice, olive patina and no signs of repair.
18th century Japanese iron kozuka (sword knife) handle with low relief decoration of several shishi (Buddhist lions) frolicking among blooming peonies. Difficult to photograph, good quality work with gilded highlights, some rust, very pleasant feel of age. Length 3.84 inches.
A very rare and unusual large Chinese scroll painting done in the Japanese style of a bird in a cage with a bamboo tree and netting. Some gold leaf work on the leaves. Chinese Silver chain or bracelet with Bell, Turquoise and Nephrite Jade Ring, 11" long-maximum length, Bell-7/8" wide, 1" high, the Jade is 7/8" diameter-outside measurement, 7/8" long x 5/8" wide for Turquoise drop tear shape, 3/4" x 5/8" wide for Peach. The bell has beautiful ringing. It shows beautiful old patina.

The low relief gilt lacquer adds depth throughout the landscape composition of pine forest, distant ocean, mountainous terrain, and the famous Uji bridge.
