A Genuine Song Period SAWANGKALOKE-SISACHANALAI, SIAMESE-THAI IRON-BROWN GLAZED JARLET WITH LIP. This jarlet is half way glazed with horizontal incised ring ribbing towards the top. Very good condition.14-16th Century. Size:height 8 cm.

This is a medium height carved cizhou wine jar with thick dark brown glazed from the Yuan dynasty (1277-1367). The vase stand on a recessed foot. The body is curved with two vertical sets of scroll within a double band..

Only minor abrasion especially on the mouth rim, pin holes and manufacturing faults as shown in the photograph, otherwise no chip, rim fritting, crack, repair or restoration...

In the mid 15th C a freighting junk loaded with fine Vietnamese pottery sank in an area of the South China Sea called the “Dragon’s Embrace.” Around 1994 local fishermen began finding pottery in their nets. This is a beautiful little round porcelain box from the now famous Hoi An shipwreck. This one is roughly 6.3 cm in diameter. It has little sea creatures still stuck to the underside - visible in the last enlargement.

A Chinese, black glazed, stem cup; Yuan dynasty. Elegantly potted; rising from it's slightly flared foot, to the U-shaped bowl with an everted rim. The iron-rich black glaze appears brown at the rim and above the foot, where it terminates. Diameter, 9.7cm. Condition; excellent. A FINE SONG DYNASTY POT WITH BLACK-BROWN GLAZE, 14TH CENTURY, CHINA. THE GLAZE ONLY COVERS ABOUT HALF OF THE POT, THE REMAINDER IS UNGLAZED. THIS POT WAS FOUND IN THE MUSI RIVER, CLOSE TO PALEMBANG CITY, WHICH WAS THE CAPITAL OF THE SRIVIJAYA KINGDOM AND WHICH HAD A VAST TRADE NETWORK WITH CHINA AND SIAM. OVERALL CONDITION VERY GOOD, ONE HARDLY NOTICEABLE, TINY INCONSEQUENTIAL CHIP ON THE TOP RIM. SIZE: HEIGHT 7.5 cm x 7 cm diameter.

Porcelain decorated full floral decoration on the exterior and interior, glazed base with mark. PERIOD : late Ming (1566-1643 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 17.7 cm wide, 9 cm tall. CONDITION: a firing crack to the rim, free from restorations. Good sound when tapping with finger tips.

Thai 14th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Celadon Bowl (19.75cm)

This stoneware bowl was made at the Sawankhalok kilns around the 14th - 15th century. It is quite "heavily-potted" and coated in a finely-crackled translucent celadon glaze. The inner surface has been decorated with incised parallel bands and vertical lines. The unglazed lower part of the underside has fired to a reddish-brown.
