This mid 19th century famille-rose seal box is 1¾ inches tall and 3½ inches in diameter. It has Qian Long mark on the bottom. The mark is fictitious which is quite common. It is decorated with a floral design. Though the color is slightly worn and tiny chip appears inside the cover, it is in great condition.

This leaf shape famille-rose brush washer is 1 ½ inches tall, 4 ¼ inches long and 3 ½ inches wide. It is dated and signed to the Tong Zhi period (1862~1874). The dish part is divided in two and hand painted with different kinds of flowers. The base is decorated with a green wave design and three orange bats. There is an old chip on the base, but over all, it is in good condition.

This mid or late 19th century Chinese porcelain hexagon seal box is 1 ¼ inches tall and 2 ½ inches wide. There is an honorable Ming Dynasty Hung Wu mark on the bottom. The cover depicts a man holding a staff walking toward a hut. The building extends over a pond. Another man is resting in the hut. There are a bunch of small houses and trees beside the pond. Mountains dominate the background. It is in great condition.

A splendid Chinese celadon brush holder formed in the style of a scholar rock. The crackled glaze along with the celadon is a classical style that began during the Song dynasty and became popular among the ruling elite. A mark is found on the bottom of the pot reading, Jingxiu tang zhi which is the studio that made the piece. Age: 18th/19th century Size: Length 4" Width 3" Height 4.6"

A rare and finely carved boxwood tobacco box that could be hung from a man's belt. The lid carved with a 3-dimansional pair of Fo dogs, the sides with floral carvings with a bird and a deer. The opening where once the rope was attached, is in the shape of two bats. China, 18th/19th century. Dimensions: L. 7 cm (excluding the wooden ring), W. 3,8 cm, H. 3,5 cm. Condition: excellent, with beautiful wear and patina.

This Shou Shan stone carving of Zhang Guo (or Kuo) Lao is a mid 19th century product. It depicts a seated Zhang Guo Lao. In his left hand, he is carrying his emblem Yu Gu (or Ku) or fish drum which is a tube-shaped bamboo drum with two iron rods. His right hand is resting on his knee. There is a straw hat hanging on his back. The statue is 4 ½” high, 3 ¼” wide (from the bottom) and 2” thick. The carved wood base is not included. The carving is simple and elegant...

This wood carving of a RuYi scepter with hard stone inset is a late 19th or early 20th century product. It is 14” long and 3 ¾” wide from the head of the scepter. It depicts several Lingzhi around an old tree branch. In Chinese mythology, Linzhi is a supernatural mushroom and represents longevity. There is a carved Lingzhi shape hard stone inset on the scepter head. It is in very good condition.

A dated gilded pink porcelain teapot, made very early in the Republic period, well decorated in Chinese Scholar's taste with peony flowers and poem. Antique Tibetan bronze vajra dorje. The handle has three heads topped with a horse. The vajra connects the hilt to the head of Makara where a three edged blade is attached. It was made in Tibet in the 19th/20th century, obtained in Kathmandu in the 1960s. It measures 12" long.

This very well carved Japanese ivory okimono is a late 19th century product. It is 5 1/2” high, 2 3/4” wide and 2 1/4″ thick measured from the bottom. It depicts a smiling farmer holding a bundle of fresh cut lotus roots which are wrapped and bound in a straw sheet. The facial expression is very realistic. This Chinese calligraphy couplet was written by late 19th century Chinese scholar and government official XU SHICHANG. Both scrolls are 16 inches wide and 64 inches long and in good condition. The calligraphy measures 12 ½ inches wide and 52 inches long. Mr. Xu was born 1854 in Tianjing City and died 1939. Mid 19th century Chinese blue and white ink pan (or box) is 2 inches tall, 3 ¾ inches long and 2 ¾ inches wide. The entire body is hand painted with pattern style of clouds, branches and flowers. The box is evenly divided into two parts. From the remains of pigment, it seems the box was used as a red ink (cinnabar) dish. It is in great condition.

This pair of Chinese archer rings with wood stands and caps is a product of late 19th century. They are 1 3/16” high (the darker one is a little shorter), 1 3/8” in diameter and a quarter of an inch thick. They are 2 ½” high with the carved wood stands and caps. The two knobs are made from natural red coral. They are in excellent condition and look great on a scholar’s desk.

This Qing Dynasty Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Famille Rose seal box is 2” high and 3” in diameter. It depicts two young boys riding on Qi Ling (or Ki Ren, a legendary animal, usually related with young male), another is pushing a cart, carrying a symbolic officer’s hat. There are small floral designs on the rim. Aside from one old chip inside the box and a couple of small chips on the bottom, it is in fairly good condition.

Mid 19th century Chinese blue and white brush holder is 4 ¾ inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. It depicts a scholar with a staff standing in front of a hut which is surrounded by mountains and trees. It is in great condition.

This 18th or 19th century green glazed and carved porcelain brush holder signed by ¡°Wang Bing Rong¡± is 5 inches tall and 3 ¼ inches in diameter. It depicts a plum tree in full bloom.
