Inspired by Meissen' s Tailor of Count Bruhl figurine, the goat is carrying an iron in her mouth while the tailor is holding a small roll of material in his hand. Incredible pair of antique staffordshire horse head brackets/shelves or sconces. Approximate size (accurate measurement on request) 10" by 7". Cream colored horse heads (similar to color of palomino) with gold gilding and a jockey cap with crossed whips/crops with large horseshoe projections. Beautiful detailing, beautiful eye (see photos). Excellent condition with some crazing and a superficial line in horseshoe which is most common in these old staffordshires...

This Chinese pink glazed vase is a mid 19th century product. The entire body is covered with a soft rosy pink glaze, commonly called du Barry rouge. The Chinese name for the shape of this kind of vase is “Tian Qiu Vase” 天 球 瓶. It is 8” high and 5” wide measured from the widest part. It has an honorable “Yong Zhong” 雍 正 (1723~1735) mark on the bottom. It is in excellent condition. More detailed photos are available.

A Staffordshire Sugar and Creamer in the Chinoiserie fashion. There is a design inside the sugar bowl which complements the outer design. There is a design in the lip of the creamer as well as outside the creamer. Note* Picture #4 shows a glass reflection in the inner sugar bowl-this is a reflection of the light when photographing it and not an imperfection. These pieces are in mint condition. Circa 1840-1860.

These rare early 19th century ceramic bowls are 2 ½” high and 6” in diameter. They depict four mythical sea creatures resting on rocks surrounded by ocean waves. The background and inside are turquoise blue. There are red “Dao Guang” (1821~1850) marks on the bottoms. Some gold edging has rubbed off from the ribbed rims. Aside from this, they are in excellent condition.
