The both vase has marking of "Great Qing Xianfeng Year Made" (大清成豊年製)in blue underglaze. Xianfeng period was one of late Qing dynasty 1851-1861...

Wonderful Doulton Burslem pitcher trimmed with gold with lovely handpainted flowers on both the front and back. There is a fabulous gold grotesque head on the spout. It has the brown Doulton Burslem on the bottom. It measures 10" tall x 5" diameter not including the handle. This great pitcher is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

A large cotton pieced log cabin quilt that is slightly asymmetrical with nine rows to the height as in the picture and eight rows of squares wide all surrounded by a red border. A rare and elegant boxed set of six sterling silver citrus spoons in Paye & Baker's "Orange" pattern. The handles are decorated front and back with oranges, orange blossoms and foliage. A large string of egg yolk / butterscotch Baltic amber, in a variety of rich hues. This necklace is possibly very old: there is crazing to the amber surface, and many of the beads show significant age wear.

A pair of wood sculpture of Ebisu and Daikoku which are two of seven gods. Ebis is for good business and Daikoku is for luck with money. They are put on the ouse shrine. In good condition but some parts are missed in Ebis (left). Late 19th to early 20th century. Base:15cm x 5cm, Height:12cm

A Chinese porcelain baluster shaped vase (without its original cover) painted in under glaze blue in early 18th Century style with birds and flowers (including stylized peony and lotus). The base carries a four character Kangxi mark but this item was made later, for export, during either the late 19th or early 20th Century.

Condition: excellent - very minor fritting to the base rim but no chips, cracks or restoration.

青花外销观音瓶 19世纪末至20...

This Japanese red lacquered wooden serving platter or tray is 13 inches in diameter. It is carved as a bream, which is the Japanese fish symbol for the "bounty of the sea". There are several layers of different colors of red lacquer which heighten the fluid appearence of the fish. The surface is slightly dulled with use and age, the charger is in wonderful condition.

This very well carved 20th century Japanese netsuke is 1 1/8 inches high, 1 ¼ inches wide and 3 quarters of an inch thick. It depicts a worried monkey carefully pulling a splinter from his leg. The impression on his face is just great. It is signed but not readable and is in excellent condition.

The Chinese ethnic minority Miao are very fond of silver and would use any festival to display their ornate silver jewelry. This dragon necklace was used by a young girl child from one of the many Miao villages around the hills of Kali. The pendent is 6.5 inches wide, childs' size, but the decorative chain is long enough for an adult to wear. Because the pendent is hollow, it is comfortable to wear. As one moves, the necklace makes a soft tinkling sound.

Refined tetsubin cast from iron with a bronze lid with a flower motif at the base of the lid's handle. Age: Taisho-Early Showa Period (1912-1920). Size: height 9.5" diameter 6.75"

The figures and crown are made of silver with parts gilded in gold. The Virgin Mary is standing on top of a column, which is supported by an alabaster marble base.Circa 1900.

This item is in good condition with the exception of a hole on the center of the column as shown in the picture.

Antique Japanese matching Katana (long) and Wakazashi (short) swords, from the Shinto Period (1579-1763). Both swords have a beautiful dark brown patina on the tang with visible laminar construction on the blades. The blades have been fully polished and have paper work from the NBRHK in Japan.
