Very rare monumental antique 18th-century large Polish brass Hanukkah lamp in a rare "round" eight-armed candelabrum style. Composed of many elements cast and turned on a primitive lathe, then hand engraved, notched, and punched.

DETAILS: a large molded circular base embellished with notched six-pointed stars, engraved fish scales, and garlands rests on three lying lions, multiple balusters stem adorned with rings, notched six-pointed stars, zigzag, and punched with circles and garlands...

A beautifully decorated famille rose/verte hexagon shaped tazza with 5 different brightly coloured gold fish swimming in a hexagon shaped pond surrounded by water lilies, lotus and water plants. The underside of the tazza is decorated with iron red bamboo leave. The base of the tazza bears the four-character minyao reign mark of Tongzhi (1862-1874) and of the Qing Dynasty period.

The gold fish tazza is in good condition with no restoration...

This miniature " bullseye with diamond point oil lamp is 5 1/2" from base to collar. The chimney adds another 4 3/4" to the height. There is a copper heat protector under the paper shade. I do believe this lamp is 100% original.

A quite large perfect potted jarlet, glazed with an nice bluegreen "Guan" glaze. The piece is very decorative because of the color of the Celadon glaze and the striking and unusual deep crackles in the glaze ( please look at the enlargements ) Song - Yuan Dynasty, Longquan ware. 19th century marine material ball shaped ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) carved in the round with a praying mantis crouching among leaves and plants including a chrysanthemum and several hozuki (Chinese lantern fruit), central hole with terminals surrounded by carved florets. Wonderful carving, excellent staining, beautiful wear and warm patina. Height 5/8 inches.

A very unique 14 sided paperweight with an interior sculpture having a latticino base supporting stranded cage housing a green glass bubble. Its quality workmanship is accented by the beveled edges on the top and bottom. In excellent condition and unsigned. Please note that the glass is slightly yellow, due in large measure tot he yellow glass rods. Our images suggest a clearer brighter glass, but that is not the case when viewed in normal light.
