The intriguing underglaze blue and white " bird " resp. " chicken " decoration of this large bowl might be able to fascinate every Picasso lover. Beautiful antique Chinese scroll with two images painted by ladies of the court from the late Ching Dynasty, circa 1900. Each image has an inscription with a cartouche. It is painted with sumie ink and mineral pigments. The overall width is 14", the images measure 10.25" wide by 9.25" tall.

Several of the Southeast Asian hilltribes from the "Golden Triangle" region would practice tattooing as body art and religious ritual. This Burmese tattoo tool with the figure head was used to scratch the skin surface and apply the dye.

This carved ox horn statue of an old man is a late 19th century product. It depicts a bearded old story teller sitting with one leg kneeling. He holds a pair of clap sticks or clappers in his right hand. His left hand rests on his belt. The statue is 4 7/8” high, 2 ¾” wide from bottom and 2 ¼” thick from bottom (without base). It is in great condition.

This carved ox horn statue of a fairy is an early 20th century product. It depicts a fairy with one hand holding a flower branch while her other hand is holding a bamboo basket with more flowers inside. It is 10 ¼” high (11 ¼” high with base), 3” wide from the bottom and 2 ¼” in depth. Aside from small chips on the bottom rim, it is in great condition.

This early 20th century Chinese ceramic carved white brush holder is 5 ¼” high and 3 ¾” in diameter. It depicts a tiger standing on top of mountain surround by far away mountains, pine trees and bamboo. There are peony and small chrysanthemums beneath the tiger and a lucky bat is flying on the top. The seal of the maker, Chen Guo Zhi, is carved on the bottom. Chen Guo Zhi (1821~1861) was a well known artist...

This elegant looking yingqing incense burner, from the late Song dynasty, is round in shape at the top like a ball with a double fluted flange as the supporting base. The cover is a semi-circle with intricately designed holes for the incense smoke to pass through.

There are some small manufacturing defects as seen in photograph 5. There are also many tiny bubble bursts indicated by the minute brown dots over the general surface of the body of the incense burner as in photograph 5...

An Unusual Pair of Newell Harding Coin Silver Salts, in a Georgian Style. Dimensions; 3" in diameter x 1.5" high; weight 7.2 troy ounces. Excellent condition. This is a late southern Song dynasty black glazed eight lobed ewer. It stands on a short recessed base exposing the buff colour earthen clay material. The glaze is generally preserved.

This is a very fine and beautiful small famille rose tea pot. The design is that of a beautiful water scene of a very lively, detailed and bright orange-red goldfish swimming among green seaweeds. There are three goldfish on the cover and five on each side of the tea pot. The base has the seal mark of Tongzhi and is of that period.

It is in very good condition with no repair, cracks or chips...

This antique Tibetan purse would have been used as a costume ornament during festival. It is decorated with silver and bronze fittings and coral and turquoise stones. Passed from generation to generation, and used extensively, this piece shows it age. Such purses would have held precious coins and the occasional flint but would not be considered as a Tibetan "strike a light" because of the lack of the striker plate.
