A good underglaze blue decorated transitional style jar of a type which was produced in Jingdezhen over a long period, from the Wanli through to the end of the Chongzheng reign, for both the export and the internal markets. Condition - there is old restoration to the rim and there is a firing crack (please see enlargements 4 and 6)...
Very Fine and Beautifully Rendered Hono Ema from the Tensho Shrine, dated October 7, 1695. The inscription reads Mikawa Province (modern day eastern Aichi Prefecture), Tomifuku-gun ('county'), Oshiro Mountain. While the wealthy would often give a horse as a gift to a Shinto shrine, the common person would give a Hono Ema (literally 'gift horse picture'). These plaques are then left hanging up at the shrine for the gods to see...
Mogul style, 1700s
This well and thinly carved classic chrysanthemum bowl is fashioned from highly transparent agate. Probably dating to the Qianlong period, it was perhaps intended for court use as a wine cup, judging from its high quality carving, and its small and delicate form. Tiny crevices to the interior and pale clouding are natural to the stone. It is in good condition with no chips or restorations...
A genuine example of classic Ding ware ( Dingyao ) is rarely seen here at Trocadero.

A good Song dynasty longquan celadon alms bowl with cover, rounded side with wide rim and deep center, bowl decorated with carved raising petal motif at the exterior, cover with carving flower motif, porcelains good ping sound with finger tip.
Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, cover has slightly different color tone.

Two Beautiful late 19th to early 20th C. Signed Chinese porcelain snuff bottles. Charming detail, animated. One with colorful figures against green-colored ground, other is with nine lions playing a ball. Both are handcrafted but both without top. Both in excellent condition. Dimensions: H: 2-1/3".
