A beautiful Turkmen Tribal Tent Entry Antique Carpet Circa 1880 50x17 in

This is the second of 4 small individual antique Chinese carvings which I am listing separately. I had always assumed them to be 4 of the eight immortals but upon close inspection, I am now not sure which gods, ancestors or legends they represent. Each character stands with its own faithful foo type dog and carries an implement of some kind. Each has a peg on the bottom which fits into the own homemade stand. This is a Limoges cabinet plate, ca. 1890, bearing the Limoges mark of the Coiffe porcelain factory as well as that of Guerin-Pouyat-Elite; featuring molded borders in pale pink within gilt rims and centered with a delicately handpainted spray of lilacs; condition: excellent, no chips, cracks, or crazing; gilt on rims is faded; measurement: 9 inches diam.

Using these Chinese lotus-shaped lacquer tea saucers simplified passing and serving hot tea. Traditional Chinese symbols are delicately painted with copper color over a black lacquer background. There is a double happiness symbol at each end along with clouds, water waves and lucky bat symbol in the center. The back side is traditional Chinese red.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer, or KPM, in the 1890s. The saucer measures 4 ¼ inches and the cup is 1 ½ inches high. Just incredible! This lovely Duhme Victorian Sterling Silver Ladle dated October 10, 1864, with spiral stem and engraved hamdle, is exquisite. The cartouche is engraved with "Hannah" The ladle measures 11.5 inches long with a generous bowl 3 3/4 inches wide. It weighs 4 ounces. A magnificent piece in excellent condition.

This is a pair of glass bowls with saucers that are of a deep, even amethyst tone with high translucency. The pieces are molded, then turned, having highly polished interiors. The two bowls have well-carved pronounced footrings. The backs of the saucers retain the mold shapes, but with a glossy polish.
