A Changsha ewer was preserved in a very fine condition.
Being applied on the surface with low-relief grapevine motifs and highlighted with brown glaze, this ewer pot was presented in a quite decent look. Some degradations and fret were yielded due to long time of age.
But the overall condition is stable and firm.
Changsha wares have long been appraised and were noticeable for the strong characteristics in authenticating the production date.

An incense cylinder was carved by excellent craftsmanship.
Depicting the casual scene of a court lady reading a scroll under a pine tree while a attendant boy hidden behind the trunk reaching his head out by curiosity, the craftsman maneuvered his fine and affluent carving skill to make the picture as much detailed and pleasant as well.
The cylinder was carved in deep relief and was pierced through in some portions to allow the incense smoke to swirl out.

Antique Japanese Fukusa (gift cover), Kinko (Ch. Qin Gao) on a giant carp. According to old Chinese legend, only a mighty carp can climb the upstream of the Yellow River where water plunges a hundred feet, turning into a water fall.
