American art pottery puzzle mug by George E. Ohr. Circa 1915. Mint condition. This mug is fashioned from terra cotta colored clay covered in a striated brown glaze. Impressed on the underside "G.E. Ohr Biloxi Miss." The handle is adorned with a stylized rabbit's head, and the rim, handle and sides are perforated with a pattern of holes. An exqusite example of enamel work on ginbari style foil background depicting a dragon swirling and coiling around the neck of the vase. Artist signed on the bottom measuring approx. 9.5 inches tall. A rare Staffordshire "Prattware" tea caddy, unusually with original cover. On each side are moulded caricatures of Georgian "society" figures with their servants/attendants.
