Description: A rare excavation piece of a jadeite snuff bottle was in beautiful greenish tint and with obvious incursions. Even with un-satisfactory cracks which was due to long time of burial, the snuff bottle was in stable condition and the hollowing craftsmanship was quite good. An adequate black steatite cap was newly paired but more work was needed to add the dipper on. Date: Qing Dynasty (18th century) Dimension: 4.9cm x 3.8cm 1.5cm

This is a nice small sancai glazed tazza cup from the Tang dynasty ((618 – 906 A.D.). The tazza is decorated with small round spots of flower like pattern with three cream spots and a brown dash in the centre. The background is glazed in green colour. The glaze on the outside of the tazza flows just below the cup, exposing the buff colour of the stem and the spread out foot.

There is no repair or restoration, crack, chip or glaze fritting. Some abrasions can be expected...

This charming old traditional style tea container is made from bamboo. It has a fitted lid that is held in place by a thin strip of wood which passes through the handle and fits in a slot in the lid. With the handle extended upward the piece measure 6" tall. The lid has some tooth marks left by a venturesome but unsuccessful mouse.

Dated to the Yuan dynasty, it is of thick celadon glaze of dark greenish yellow body, which has beautiful crazing line. The body is of pale gray materials with the base shown burnt to a dark reddish brown colour. The small longquan vase could have been use for either storing medicine or just as a small vase. Holding in the mouth with the thread, the mother lion was teasing the cub who was chasing the ball clumsily. With old darkened patina, there was a hole on the back of the mother lion. A fine Antique Japanese bronze censer Meiji period artist or makers signed. A incredibly finely detailed casting with dragons and shishi dogs and traditional Japanese design elements. Measuring approx. 21 inches tall in good condition some repairs or re-soldering to the handles and base supports causing some discolorations to the patina. All in all this is a remarkable piece at a very reasonable price.
