This is a blue and white brush rest for a scholar study. The brush rest is manufactured in the likeness of blue and white wares on which Arabic and Persian inscriptions appear during the reign of emperor Cheng-Te, Ming dynasty. The painting is like a scroll work know as the “Muhammadan scrolls” with inter-twining foliage.

It is a very beautiful and finely potted vase dated from the early Republic period. This is a large, beautiful and museum quality Han dynasty pig style. It shows two pigs in the pig style with a fodder holder. The pig style is made of red pottery and it is rare to find them in such good condition and of a good size. The pig style is used as burial object to accompany the dead for their after-live used.

Description: A camphor wood arm chair was originally made in Taiwan in the late 19th century. With beautiful design, this chair was used to be put on the main side of a living room in pairs which were called Tai-Shi-Yi, the lord's chair. In heavy weight, it was tenoned firmly and preserved very well with original warm patina. There're only some decay at the front rim side. Height: 97.5cm width: 54.5cm x 47cm

It is beautifully potted in an ovid form with incised foliate ground in a transparent icy green glaze, with the rounded side tapering to a short foot.

There are no repairs or restorations. There is some minor firing fault, degradation, chips at the mouth (picture 3) and minor losses. Minor scattered oxidise spot and a more a visible one shown on picture 5. Otherwise in good condition.

This is a finely potted and enamelled “Over-The-Wall” famille rose Ogee Bowl. It shows three stem of bamboo tree drawn from the exterior of the bowl and then continues into the interior of the bowl with persimmons hanging on to the bamboo plant with the twig crossing over the rim into the interior of the bowl. This is a finely potted Song dynasty (960 – 1276AD) Yaozhou Persimmon hexafoil glazed cup. It has a gently rounded sides rising from a straight foot to an everted hexafoil rim, covered overall in a lustrous with a scattered iridescent persimmon glaze. The lustrous persimmon glaze, with its thick glaze flow stopping just short of the foot to reveal a white clay body. Overall, it is a very beautiful piece.
