A Chinese brush or ink cake rest in scroll shape. Made of porcelain, beautifully painted in the Qianjiang Palette, showing a river landscape. The sides with some gold paint. This rare, intricately constructed link bracelet of silver & amethyst was designed & signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda. The bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide with a 6 3/4" interior wearable length. It weighs 101 grams. Both the silver & 8 large amethyst cabs are in beautiful condition. Fully hallmarked. This striking silver & amethyst necklace was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pendant measures 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" & weighs 70 grams.
