Traditionally the style and shape of these old Tibetan wool boots was used by all Buddhist monks, and were considered part of the monks costume. The specific decorative cut pattern and colors of fabric indicated the area of Tibet and the position of the Monk. I am not able to identity the Tibetan region or station of the monk who worn this particular pair of boots

A Yuan dynasty white glaze Shufu stem cup, this stem cup has high foot with rounded side, an everted lip and spreading stem, inside the stem cup there is two scaly dragons chasing flaming pearl, the stem cup covered with opaque white Shufu or Luanbai glaze.

A similar stem cup has been excavated from Yuan dynasty Ren family tombs in Qingpu county, stem cup of this type also been unearthed in Yuan contexts at Hutian Jingdezhen, where they were made.

Super rare child-sized mannequin from France; circa 1920's or earlier. Marked "Stockman Paris" on the front and the rare mark of"Au Bon Marche Paris" on the back; size 50. Linen covered body has some minor staining and tears, one of the wooden arm caps is incomplete, overall a wonderful decorative piece. Approximately 4 feet tall on stand (can extend up to approx 4 ft 3"). Body is 21" long, waist is 21" around, hips 30". Slight bustle curve to back.

When decorated on the frontal side with incised motifs of fishes, flowers and water weeds and by a ring-punched ground, the pillow was left being unglazed at the bottom.
Naturally and vibrantly carved, the motifs were rendered in a dated photographic characteristic which we usually seen in the wares of northern regions of early periods.

An underglaze blue painted jar and cover decorated in 17th/18th Century Kangxi style with prunus blossoms against a "cracked ice" back ground. This item was made later, during the late Qing or very early Republic period, circa 1875 to 1915. Condition - very good. There is a very slight shallow surface chip to the top of the neck. No further chips, no cracks and no restoration...

A well painted pair of Kangxi style rouleau shaped vases decorated in underglaze blue with branches of prunus blossom. These items were made, circa 1880 - 1920, during either the late Qing or early Republic periods. Condition - each has a small hole drilled 1.5 inches (3cm) above the base. One vase has a chip and associated crack to the footrim. No further damage and no restoration...

Rare pair of sterling silver kinetic earrings by important New York Modernist Sam Kramer, circa 1950s. The earrings are constructed with a biomorphic shape with a raised bar from which another shape dangles freely. Each earring measures 1.25" long. Description: A Ming Longquan long-neck bottle was in decent look. When heavily potted, the bottle was inscribed on the surface with pattern of flower scrolls. Immense glaze bubbles were yielded under the celadon glaze like mist. Light incursions were caused to the mouth rim while firing red was obviously found in the body clay at the foot ring. It is a nice Longquan piece from Zhejiang province. Date: Ming Dynasty(AD1368-1644) , Height: 26cm.

Description: A celadon Longquan stem-cup was well molded. By a dark green tint, the glaze was well applied all over the surface except the foot ring. Motifs of flowers and branches were finely incised on the inner wall of the bowl and subtly revealed under the glaze. Authenticating firing red was obvious at the unglazed foot ring and the inside of the looped foot trunk. In quite good size and a perfect condition, the stem cup stands well in a decent look...

The now empty tin features the Banania brand trademark graphic of a smiling Blackamoor.

A magnificent Southern Song - Yuan dynasty longquan celadon big censer (incense burner), this barrel shape incense burner stand on three cabriole legs and has a pendant round unglazed base, its sides are decorated with applied molded decoration of peonies and leaves scroll, censer covered with pale blue green glaze, it is very rare to find a large size censer in this type.

Wonderful champagne ice bucket, or "seau" circa 1950's/60's, from France. To advertise their product, champagne houses would give these buckets to restaurants as a point of sale item, they were not sold. This bucket was never circulated - it is NOS (new old stock). Marked "Montebello" in enamel, "Champange" & "Chateau de Mareuil s/Ay." Nice grape detail below the handles. Chrome over brass; measures 8" tall 7-3/4" across.

Amazing find! Beautiful vintage double sided school poster from France - was used in classroom for lessons circa 1940's-50's. In good overall condition for its age - some edgewear & light scuffs - nothing major. Also marked "Editions Rossignol Montmorillon Vienne." This is poster #17/18 "La Giroflee" & "Le Coquelicot". A fine southern Song dynasty Qingbai covered box, rounded side with ribbing at the body suggested petal and unglazed base, there is a flower motif at the center, box covered with good bluish white glaze.

Description: A nephrite Houtien jade carving was very well rendered as two monkeys. By a good-wished metaphor of Being High Ranking Officials Generations after Generations, the monkey mother was holding hands with baby monkey face to face. In a celadon tint, the jade piece was done by traditional craftsmanship. It is a very good example for Chinese jade carving for the characteristics of jade carving skills and jade material. Date: Qing Dynasty, Dimensions: 4.2cm x 3.5cm x 1.6cm.

Recent excavated from Borneo site Longquan celadon large dish, decorated at interior with twin fish in the center and incised scrolls motif to cavetto wall. Underside rim area with unusual single fish, it's very rare example of Song-Yuan large dish with this kind motif. Unfortunately damaged without missing pieces and amateur glue repaired, but the glaze is still very fine covered with slight deep banana leaf green glaze. Diameter: 37cm.
