A vintage sterling silver modernist pendant and necklace by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Pendant reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Pendant measures 3 1/8" long to the top of the bale and 2 1/8" at the widest. Chain is attached at the bale and closes with a spring clasp that holds tightly. Chain measures about 17" around. Marked on the bale with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition...

For someone with a song in his heart, this vintage pair of sterling silver toggle back cufflinks takes the form of a G clef, marked on the link STERLING and Pat 2472953, circa 1940. Measures 1 1/4" high. condition is excellent. May need cleaning.

This unique vintage Necklace is by the wonderful Margot de Taxco whose skill as a designer is considered to be among the finest of the all the Silver Masters. The links are a row of Roman Numerals from 1 to 12 set between small silver beads. It measures 14 1/2" long by 3/4" wide and it weighs 67 grams. A delightful Imperial Austrian silver brooch set with three reverse-carved Essex crystals by the Imperial jeweler Georg Adam Scheid. The domed pin is finely engraved in a basket-weave motif and is pierced by three Essex crystals, each depicting a lap dog, perhaps a Pekingese. The dogs are well carved and colored, with tiny blue bows under their chins. The crystals never had a mother-of-pearl backing like those produced in England and France...

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Hans Hansen, Denmark, designed by Karl Gustav Hansen with heart shaped links. This bracelet is design #237 and has the larger hearts and the earlier closure. This design was often additionally hallmarked with the Georg Jensen mark.

Measures 6 3/4" long and about 7/8" at the widest. The convex hearts curve slightly so the bracelet lays nicely on the wrist.

This unusual bangle is very comfortable to wear — the shape of this sturdy bangle makes it easy to slide over the knuckles. The bangle was formed by bending a four-sided sterling silver rod into a square with rounded corners, joining the ends at the middle of one side. A vintage sterling silver hammered money clip made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge.

Measures about 2 3/8" long and 1" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. It currently has a 'G' monogram, but could probably be buffed out.

These sterling silver, screwback earrings are so cool. They are circa 1950's. They measure 1" x 3/8" x 1/4" deep. They feature a mod shape with a concave, oxidized background, with prong set, cultured pearls. One is marked STERLING J.S.C 925 (see pictures). I am still trying to figure out the silversmith's mark. A massive silver ring by Antonio Belgiorno, Buenos Aires, c 1940-50. The geometric design and the use of oxidizing is typical of Belgiorno, who is one of Argentina’s most well known artists in silver. A solid piece of jewelry that really makes a statement. Marked A Belgiorno, Industria Argentina T27 and 900. Open and adjustable, the inner diameter at present 18 mm which corresponds to size 6 ½. Condition: fine.
