First edition/first printing with "A" noted along with the Scribner seal.The pages have toning, there is a name inscribed on the front free paper and also a note in pencil on the back paste down. Unsigned hand-tinted photograph of a stream/pond scene. Image size is 5 7/8 by 3 3/4 inches, mat size is 9 5/8 by 7 5/8 inches. Framed size is 10 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches. Condition is good with a water stain on left side of mat near frame, small white spot on mat in upper right of image. Pre-1940, original frame and backing, very minor damage to lower right frame corner. Horizontal coloration difference is due to lighting when taking photo of framed work, not a flaw.

A Charles Meryon Print Collectors Club book #126/500. This scarce art book from the Art Deco era published by the Print Collectors' Club of London, England in 1931. This 10 x 7-1/2" paper and cloth bound book has 31 pages plus 22 black and white illustrations following on separate pages; it is titled CHARLES MERYON AND HIS EAUX-FORTES SUR PARIS, and it is one of a series of limited edition art books published in this era...

This is the French edition published in 1931 by Calmann-Levy. The red boards show signs of wear on the edges and the pages have yellowed. A name is written in blue crayon or pencil on the front endpaper otherwise unmarked.

A stated first edition published in 1932 by Doubleday Doran & Co. Black cloth boards with gilt lettering. There is a faint smudge on page 11, the textblock has some darkening especially at the lower corner, the back board shows some fading, and there is a small notation in pencil on the back free paper - otherwise the book is in fine condition. No dust jacket. 314pp.

A copy of the hard cover book "Canyon Country", by author Julius F. Stone, published 1932 by G.P. Putnam's Sons. The book is signed by the author and inscribed "To Lorin C. Tarlton with all good wishers" 10/25/1945" on the inside front cover in ink.
