Japanese brocaded Silk Obi, small silver repeated leaves on double thickness and double sided soft silk, 20" wide, 96" long, very little small spots of stain, otherwise the condition is good.

Rare Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print by Shiogoshi Yoshinori (b. 1935) depicting a bird standing on one leg set against a background with a strong wood grain. The body of the bird resembles a fish produced using the gyotaku printing method. Pencil-signed, dated 1959, and titled in kanji "Bird." Paper: 17 3/4" x 10 3/4" (image: 15 3/8" x 8 1/2"). Very good overall condition...

Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a pavilion in the woods near a pond by Inui Tai (b. 1929). The artist was active from the end of the 1940s through the 1980s and was heavily influenced by the work of Shiko Munakata. Paper size: 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" (image: 9 3/8" x 11 3/8"). Very good overall condition with some wrinkling to the fine paper and minor soiling to the bottom margin edge. Similar prints by this artist can be seen in the online collection of the Spencer Museum...
