Three metal martini glasses stamped on the bottom "MADE IN/HSIANG YUN CO./HANKOW." Hankow (Hankou) is part of the present day city of Wuhan. In the early 20th century the city contained five foreign concessions.
Possibly paktong or another base metal with a resemblance to silver, though it is considerably harder. 4 ¾ inches (12 cm) tall.
Condition: Made in two parts, one glass is slightly loose where the stem meets the bowl. Another has a low spot at the seam in the bowl...
Interesting early Deco gilt metal pendant of Chinese shape. The front with an enameled motif of a lady with Chinese hairstyle busy with needlework in front of a smoking scenser, all within a keyfret border. The back with a cracked ice border surrounding a willow tree and ducks in a pond. Probably French, around 1920. Width "1 ½ / 3.7 cm. Condition: fine, except for a darker spot to the back, visible from a certain angle (cf. last photo).

A hand-embroidered Turkman Yomut nomad's skullcap from Herat dated to the early to mid 20th century. Exceptionally fine ladder stitch combined with satin stitch and couching in silk thread. Condition is very good, just some tiny stains. Diameter: 18 cm, circumference 48.5 (approx. 19 inches).

This figural glass lamp was produced by L.E. Smith Company during the 1940's - 50's. The color was fired on over clear glass, giving the opaque finish. This style is referred to as the 'Southern Belle' lamp. I have 2 available. Both have been re-wired so they work fine. The shade clips on the light bulb. (Bulb not included, I recommend 25 or 40 watt bulbs so the glass doesn't get too hot.) Please specify which you'd like. All are in good shape.

A 1940s Kashmir wood turned box featuring a wonderful warm gold and green lacquered mottled design over black. It measures 5.75 inches across and 4.5 high including finial.
Hex Optic is one of the earlier depression patterns. It was made by Jeannette Glass from 1928 to 1932 and used extensively in their kitchenware lines. Offered here is the ice bucket in green in excellent condition. This version has the pour spout so that a reamer can be inserted and the bucket serves double duty. it comes with the original metal handle & serving tongs. Save 10% today... This beautiful vaseline and cobalt wine stem is quite eye-catching. The goblet size bowl features an incredibly vibrant vaseline color with hints of green. It is blown, rib optic glass with subtle curves extending to the cut and finished rim. The stem is a deep, royal cobalt blue with a twist, attached to the blown and finished foot, and the yellow bowls. It stands 6 1/4" tall is in excellent, unused condition. I have searched to find the maker, but no luck so far...

This beautiful Tiffin whisper-thin, blown glass compote features medallions or cameos of dancing nudes with scarves. The cameos are acid etched and show satin glass as the background. It measures 6 1/2" across the cut and finished rim and stands 2 3/4" high. This bright beauty is in excellent condition. I have other Tiffin and elegant glass in my inventory... take a peek.
