Being offered is a fine and charming circa 1945 sterling silver tray by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico; handwrought serving tray with applied circular dots at opposite ends; with a stepped center. A silk and cotton ikat-dyed chapan with padded and quilted cotton lining from northern Afghanistan. It is in excellent condition, measuring 137 cm across from one sleeve end to the other; arm opening: 26 cm; bust: 49 cm; gusset to sleeve opening: 47.5 cm; shoulder hem to bottom hem: 113 cm. Estimated age late 20th century.
Design book of Japanese traditional patterns which are originally designed by Katsushika Hokusai (1760?~1849), a notable and prominent Ukiyo-e-shi. The title is "Shin-gata Kommon-cho", a new komon design book. It has a pair of two designs, which are woodblock print, black line in one page and colored in the other and each has a name. 74 patterns in a ciecle. In excellent condition. Offered is this beautiful old Pairpoint lamp. The lamp-shade is decorated with hand-painted garland of flowers. Overall, the lamp is 17 inches tall. The shade is 10 1/4 inches wide and 5 5/8 inches high. Overall, the lamp is in very good condition (mentioned for accuracy: there is the expected age-appropriate tarnishing of the metal, part of the plugging-socket is gone, though it is safe, and some rim-roughness that are typical of these old shades - see last picture)...

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between
1924 to 1934. It has the crossed swords mark from the Pfeiffer period that is first quality.
The saucer measures 4 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The set is decorated in the Japanese Kakiemon style. Whimsical, stylized yellow tigers wind themselves around bamboo...
Bubble was made between 1934-65. This Sapphire Blue creamer and sugar are in excellent condition.
A sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a watering can by Cartier. When tipped, the dispenses sprinkles a drip or two of vermouth into the glass for the perfect martini. The bottom is marked “Cartier Sterling.” These cans were made specifically for Cartier’s New York store.
Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: very good, a very minor ding on the bottom rim and on the spill guard at the top. Dimensions: 3” tall. Weight: 51.2 gr.

Modelled in the Roseville traditional Nouveau-Déco transitional style, glazed in matte green, white and yellow with a design of relief modelled Cosmos flowers, c 1940. Marked Roseville U S A 1151-2. Height 2"/5,5 cm, diameter 3 ¾"/9,5 cm. Condition: a few restored chips to exterior of upper rim of one candle holder (cf. pics) otherwise fine.

This porcelain and sterling silver demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Wedgwood in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The well of the saucer is indented so that the cup sits in it securely and will not slide off. This is known as a “trembleuse” cup and saucer. The set is decorated with silver lines in an art deco geometric pattern. Green leaves accent the design...

This small carved ivory erotic netsuke of two men is 2” long, 1” high and 1’ thick. It is dated 1960’s. There is a red lacquer inlayed signature on the bottom. It is very well carved and in great condition.
Unusual architectural element, carved in the form of a smiling man standing on the head of a water buffalo ("carabao"). This element was part of the decoration inside a house. Wood, semi glossy patina. Indonesia, Flores Island, mid 20th century. Height: 44 cm. The element is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Very good condition despite some remnants of insect infestation (no danger).
