This beautiful vase was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the pattern is called Katydid and was produced in the late 1920's. The vase is 7 inches high and the color is a dark sepia brown ceramic wash over crystal. Excellent condition, see my other listings for more Consolidated Glass.

A Substantial Sterling Silver Bread Tray by International Silver (mark is slightly rubbed). In the Danish Style, similar to the Work by Georg Jensen. Monogram (CHM) on edge. Dimensions; 12.75" long x 8" deep x 1.5" high; weight 18.3 Troy ounces. Some minor surface scratches, but in excellent condition. Circa, 1930's.

Nice Art Deco brass cocktail shaker in the form of a wine bottle. The bottle separates at the shoulders to reveal the strainer and the lip of the bottle removes for pouring. The bottom of the shaker is indented just as a glass wine bottle is. We’ve had many figural cocktail shakers, but this is the first bottle we’ve had.

Origin: probably America, ca. 1935. Condition: untouched patina, a couple of ding nears the bottom edge and another at the shoulder...

This is a very nice example of a Lowell, Massachusetts, patent medicine complete with box.

The 8.5 inch bottle is in fine condition and sports a label only on the side panel because it is embossed on the remaining three sides. The bottle label is almost complete with modest staining from content leakage.

This medicine retains its original, very decorative box which notes a 1915 date-- apparently when this "new" box was first introduced to the public in August of that year...

Canadian Northwest Coast Haida Indian hand dance drum by Clarence A. Wells ( -1950) depicts a pair of hawks in the graphic Haida style. Title "Fish Hawk". and signature present along edge. Vintage Chinese sculpture of a resting horse with its head raised and turned back, carved out of solid amethyst. Beautiful stone ranging from typical amethyst purple to rock crystal transparent, natural lines in the material. Very good quality carving capturing the essence of the creature, excellent finish, very pleasant to hold. Length 2.85 inches.

This set of bar tools in Tiffany's classic "Bamboo" pattern includes a bottle/can opener, ice pick and fruit knife, all with gilt sterling silver handles. A Japanese sake ewer (kurojoka) shaped as a minogame (mythical tortoise with a tail that symbolizes long life) covered with mottled brown, gray and yellow glaze, probably from Satsuma province in southern Kyushu Island.

Lovely Rene Lalique molded bowl with a slightly raised and frosted romaine leaf motif and a sterling silver rim. The bowl measures 9 1/2" in diameter and is 3 5/8" high. It is marked R. Lalique France in the center interior of the bowl. The condition is excellent. Circa 1920.

This is a set of a vintage Japanese porcelain tea plate, which was made by a Human National Treasure, Kaiji Tsukamoto (1912-1990) about 40 years ago.

This legendary star potter was honored in 1983 with the most importend award "Living National Treasure/Japanese Human National Treasure.

Flowers are molded on the plate. The seal of his kiln is stamped on the bottom.

Healthy Japanese babies adorn this bright red juban. Made of light weight silk with equally light weight white silk lining, this woman's juban measures 48" across the shoulders (including sleeves) and 50" long. In very good condition, it dates early Showa, 1930, though the collar appears to be newer. This is a very cheerful under garment and would be a fun piece to wear as an outer garment.
