A floral decorated milk jug and floral decorated cover with a rose and leaves finial. The potting of the jug is fairly heavy at the bottom, the decoration of a fairly elaborate boquet and a simpler one on the other side is complimented by the yellow painted rims and decoration on the handle. Vincennes and Sevres had a monopoly on using gilt decoration so that other French factories had to use paint where they might have used gilding. Height approx. 5 ¾ inches...

Both have a sticky label on the underside for the Hackman Collection with the Number,”80” presumably an inventory number. They are 6 inches tall and 4 inches at the widest.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Brownfields in 1881. The name of the company is impressed in the porcelain and there is a registry mark giving the precise date the cup and saucer was produced. The saucer measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. There are alternating panels of hand painted fruits and textured burgundy red. The fruits are painted in raised silver and gold enamels...

A wonderful Bow porcelain factory tea bowl painted in the "Jumping Boy" pattern. Although this pattern is occasionally found on Chaffers porcelain, and is not common, it appears to occur even much less frequently on Bow porcelain pieces. The potting is extremely thin and light. The painting, done in shades of dark and lighter blues, is extremely well done, and features a seated Oriental woman holding a sprig of flowers...

A quatrefoil sugar bowl, cover and stand all with floral decoration. The cover with a plum like fruit and leaf finial. Both the stand and the cover have painted dark purple rims. Both the stand and the bowl are marked with incised, “DV”. The stand has no punctuation and the bowl has a period after each letter. The stand is approx. 8 ½ by 7 inches (22 x 18 cm) and the sugar bowl with cover is 4 inches tall, 6 ½ inches long and 5 inched wide (10.5 x 17 x 13 cm)...

An elaborately painted and gilt cabinet cup and saucer depicting St. Stephan cathedral in Vienna. The painting is delicate and the tiny figures are from the 19th century. The gilding is both flat and raised. The saucer is 5 ¼ inch diameter (13.5cm). The cup is 2 3/8 inches tall (6.5 cm).

The interlaced “L”s enclose the letter “K” for the date 1763. The four dots in an angled square are the painter’s mark. The inside of the foot rim has the hole from firing. The interior with the usual Canton scene including bridge, pagodas, sailboats and islands in the distance. A pair of “King’s pattern” heavy porcelain dinner plates with underglaze blue and overglaze red and gilt decoration. This pattern was an Imari pattern that acquired the “King” name. Both are marked with impressed, “DERBY” under a crown. Both also have red interlaced Ds below a crown. A fine example from the Quadrupeds Series, manufactured, primarily for the American market, by John Hall between 1802 and 1832. This particular piece depicts the pronghorn antelope, with a beaver, otter, coyote, and raccoon in the cartouches at the edge of the plate. Marked on the reverse a printed "Hall Quadrupeds".

The plate is 8" in diameter and is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration, and having the desirable deep blue ripple glaze.
