Circa 1830, historical dark blue Staffordshire teapot with a different scene on each side. One side shows 3 men chopping down a tree with a house in the background. The opposing side depicts a train engine pulling a coach. This teapot was produced by Enoch Wood & Sons (1818 - 1846) of Staffordshire. The deep blue color is remarkable as well as its excellent condition. Measures 10.5ʺ wide, 5ʺ deep, 7ʺ high.

Dinner plate in Sevres pattern but probably Minton c. 1850

A soft paste porcelain dinner plate unmarked, but probably Minton. In the “feuille de choux” pattern with hand painted flowers, blue accents and heavy gilding. These knock offs of 18th century Sevres were popular from the mid 19th century (c.1850) onwards and Minton made many of the very good ones. 9 ½ inches (24 cm) diameter.

A pair of small Doulton Lambeth Silicon jars, the inside salt glazed as to be used for pickles relish or the like, the outside meticulously worked with applied and incised stylized leaves and pearl borders in beige and blue. This porcelain tray was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1900. We believe that the porcelain blank was sold white ware to a decorator who hand painted it. This porcelain basket was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. It is marked with an under glaze cobalt blue crown and shield. The basket measures 9 1/4 inches across the handles, 6 1/2 inches wide and is 2 3/4 inches deep. It features entwined handles and delicate reticulation. The interior of the basket is beautifully hand painted with colorful flowers. All of the reticulation is outlined in gold inside and out. It is a sweet and fragile reminder of by-gone eras.

An uncommon and fine Chaffers saucer and teabowl in the "Two Men on an Island" pattern. A workman's mark of three dots is on the reverse on the saucer.

This finely potted blue and while porcelain is in superb condition, with no chips, cracks, staining, or restoration. Any apparent paint losses in the photos are due to reflections. The saucer is 4 7/8" in diameter and the cup has a 2 3/4" diameter at the rim and is 1 1/2" tall.

A Royal Doulton Chiné stoneware jug or pitcher with pewter lid, c 1890, partly gilt and enamelled in turquoise, blue and white. The Chiné pattern, where a textile – lace - was pressed into the clay to create the desired effect, was invented by Slater, director of Doulton from 1887 to 1936. A marked Meissen match safe from the late 19th century for those matches that were struck on any rough surface. The rough surface is on the inside of the top. The box is a rectangle with cut corners and curved sides. The outside of the top is stepped with blue bands marking each step to the flat top, the sides of the lower portion curve inward to a low foot. A pair of dry drug jars decorated with blue leaves top and bottom and the drug name in the middle, all over a light grayish blue glaze. This form is typical of the 18th century Italian drug jars. The hand throwing on a wheel is evident on the glazed interior of both jars. 7 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¾ inches diameter, (18.5 cm tall, 12 cm diameter).

Condition; Both have chips on the base and roughness from throwing on the mouth. Both have later marking on the base with a magic marker.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1912. There are date ciphers that indicate this date. The set is made of high quality bone china. It is decorated in a Japanese Imari pattern. The decoration is hand painted and ornately gilded. The decoration on the cup and saucer is bold and vivid. There is some slight wear in the well of the saucer. This cup and saucer is in otherwise excellent condition.

Meissen blue and white cup and saucer. Decoration in the “Blue Fluted” pattern originally designed by Meissen c 1740, later to be used by other manufacturers, esp. Danish Royal Copenhagen. The slim handle, ribbed inside, shape of the sword marks and the mark 44 altogether suggest a date between 1818 and 1860 (cf. Graesse on Meissen, 110). This porcelain serving dish was produced in France in the late 19th century by Delinieres & Co., Limoges. The dish was sold white ware to an artist who decorated it in their studio. It has a signature on the back. There are handles molded into the porcelain in the shape of flowers. The painting of the orchid is very beautiful with foliage and ferns accompanying it. The Vũng Tàu shipwreck is a shipwreck that was found in the South China Sea off the islands of Côn Đảo about 100 miles from Vũng Tàu, Vietnam in 1692.
