This is very close to the original as can be seen when compared to a pair of vases on ormolu stands in the Tokyo National Museum.

A beautiful creamware tureen and lid, probably Leeds, but possibly a Staffordshire factory. Of oval, quatrefoil shape with molded shell borders, scrolled handles, and a pomegranate finial, painted with turquoise and black enamel trim. These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in Germany at the Royal Porcelain Manufacturer, Berlin in the early 20th century. The saucers are 3 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 1 3/4 inches high. They are can shaped with deep saucers. There is raised gold trim on all of the pieces. This trio of tea cup, coffee cup and saucer was produced in Wales by Nantgarw between
1817 and 1822. Illustration #82 in “Nantgarw Porcelain Album” written by W.D. John, G.J. Coombes and K. Coombes shows a cream jug in the same pattern. None of the pieces are signed. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Europe in the mid 19th century. It is marked under glaze but we have been unable to identify it. The shape is similar to some used by KPM. Finely potted blue and white Chinese export Canton handleless sugar bowl with minute, barely discernible firing flaws. About 5-1/2" W x 5-5/8" H. No chips, frits, hairlines or repairs. Sugar bowls with braided handles were harder to make and morphed into the later handleless ones, c. 1880-1910. Described as "rare" by the Schiffers in CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN, c. 1975.
