A charming hooked rug depicting a woman holding a flower and sitting in a chair beside a large kettle over an open fire. The wall behind her shows a painting and a window through which can be seen a church. Rugs of this size and this period showing an interior scene are quite uncommon.

These 12 porcelain cream soup cups and saucers were produced in England by the Royal Cauldon Factory around 1900. The saucers measure 5 ¾ inches in diameter and the cups are 6 inches across the handles and 2 inches high. The cups feature graceful scalloped pedestal bases and split branch handles. A beautiful example of a Lowestoft porcelain pickle leaf dish with a grape and vine decoration and the berry border. Vein molded on the reverse. The foot rim has a workman's mark.

The condition is excellent, with no flaws. Light areas in the photo are due to reflections as opposed to paint loss. Width is 3 1/2" and the length is 4".

This porcelain plate was produced in Limbach Germany, by Gotthelf Greiner between 1772 and 1787. It has an under glaze blue mark with a star. The plate has a diameter of 9 inches. It is indented about 1/2 inch toward the middle making it deep in the center. The border of 1 1/2 inches is reticulated or pierced. The piercing was done with a knife by hand. A very fine Chinese export porcelain sauce tureen with blue decoration in the Fitzhugh pattern. The oval body is finely potted with intertwined twig handles and applied berries where they join the body. The lid has floral finial.
