A lovely cut glass perfume bottle cut from cranberry to clear. The design is a simple, classic combination of crosshatched diamonds and fans. The shoulders of the bottle are panel cut, and the base is finished with a 24-point star. The lapidary-cut stopper is original to the bottle and is engraved with the same number as the inside of the bottle's neck. Origin: Europe, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Unsigned, this 10" Mont Joye crystal cameo glass vase is beautifully hand enameled in a pattern of orchids over a clear "chipped ice" ground. Circa 1910

Condition: Excellent, no damage or repairs. There is slight age wear to the polished pontil base and wear to the gilded inner rim in spots, revealing the green enamel undercoat, as illustrated in the sixth photograph.

An uncommon set of six nut picks, the mother of pearl handles attached to the silverplate picks with sterling silver ferules. The ferules are decorated with ropetwist borders flanking an ornate acanthus leaf pattern. In the Victorian era, fresh nuts would have been served alongside and cheese and fruit as a dessert course. This is a superb, early, and rare Chinese libation cup. The paste itself appears to date from around 1735, while the decoration is most likely from around 1775.

A superb and extremely rare bucket bowl wine goblet with an everted lip. The stem is an 8 sided molded pedestal type, also known as a Silesian stem. What makes it particularly uncommon is that it is not straight, but is wrythen molded, with the additional rarity of diamond molding at the shoulders. Completing the beauty of this piece is the single collar below the bowl, and the double collar above the large foot, which has a rough snapped pontil and an extremely wide fold.

This is an extremely uncommon Irish cordial or wine glass with a domed helmet foot. The round funnel bowl sits atop a multiple spiral air twist stem (MSAT). The glass is quite heavy and substantial, with a good dark metal, and the weight and thickness of the stem all lead to the Irish attribution.

In perfect condition with no problems whatsoever, the glass is 6 3/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/8 inches and a foot diameter of 2 15/16 inches.

A beautiful facet cut ale glass with gilded hops and barley, decorated by the famous and much desired craftsman, James Giles. The facet cutting extends from the base, through the stem and 1/3 up the bowl.

A very nice blue and white Chinese export porcelain plate in the Fitzhugh pattern. The central reserve is surrounded by a complimentary design in the four quadrants, all enclosed in a diapered border. The blue color is very intense and the porcelain body has a good, clear white color. The execution of the painted design suggests that the plate dates from the first quarter of the 19th century.

A wonderful sterling silver trout set in Towle's 1884 "Arlington" pattern. The handles are decorated in the repousse style with a profusion of roses and foliage. The decoration lends itself to being mixed with many of the repousse patterns from the Baltimore area. It is the blade of the trout knife, wonderfully decorated with an engraved trout leaping into the air after biting a lure (the entire casting rod in the background), that really sets these servers apart. An extremely fine NLB Newcastle light baluster wine glass with superb engraving of two clasped hands. Jacob Sang often used such a motif and the engraving is definitely of Sang quality, though, being unsigned, it is impossible to definitely attribute it to him. The pointed round funnel bowl sits atop a stem with a shoulder knop and a tear-filled medial inverted baluster knop. A basal knop is above the conical foot, which has a rough, snapped pontil.
