A beautiful mahogany shaped knife box made of solid sides and fitted with slotted board to hold knives. The cyma and creased shaped front supports a non-working brass lock escutcheon and opening handle. The corners are molded. The cover is decorated with a star inside, and attached with brass hinges. The base of the box is also molded. Over all, the design and construction are sumptuous.

A fine old antique gold frame of the 19th century, measuring 27" by 34" by 3" depth, the inner rabbet 18 1/2" by 25 1/2". This frame certainly at one time held a fine painting; there is some hint of there having been a placard. Weight is an impressive 20 pounds; the wood used I believe is heavy oak. There is much evidence of age, moderate wear; but it is in keeping with the age and antiquity of the frame. Currently there is a modern print of a Picasso work inserted into the opening.
A Victorian sterling silver ornate floral hand mirror circa 1890 1900. This antique 10-1/2" x 5-3/4" dresser set piece has a she ield cartouche that has not had a monogram. The silver marks are usually found near the base of the mirror at the handle, which in this case appears to have been shortened slightly, you can see a separate line, obscuring the hallmarks. The mirror was tested and it does test as sterling silver. Greatly resembles older Kirk or Steiff silver...
Small Victorian stick and ball wall shelf with a mirror on top and a hinged box on the bottom. This cute little shelf has brass tops and is grain painted. It dates fromthe early 1900s, and measures 23" tall x 12" wide x 5 1/2" deep.

DESCRIPTION: An antique French wine pitcher crafted like a barrel from staves of wood bound by five hand wrought iron hoops. The top hoop forms the neck and spout, the handle is iron wrapped wood. Originating from the Alsace region in eastern France, this pitcher is a wonderful compliment to any French, country or farmhouse décor. DIMENSIONS; 15" high x 12 1/4" diameter.

The bottom has an embossed farming scene with the sides having various vignettes including a hunter and a shepherdess. No marks other than the stamped France mark, artist unknown, but is certainly designed with a fine artistic eye.
The bird has ruffled feathers around the neck, its feet grasping onto the base, with a short tail feather with step design...
