This head has slanted eyes a large detailed hair combed to a headband Size 1.5" by 1"

Of the over 10,000 artifacts that the late world famous Dr. Allen Heflin found, this little miniature hand-molded ceramic figurine ranks among the rarest. It is from the unattributed Preclassic Period, C1200-900BC. It is 2" long and in perfect condition with no chips or dings. It still has traces of red and white pigment. Heflin found this little treasure on 12-21-60 and is so marked on the back. It is from Cuautitlan. It is wearing ear spools, headdress and armbands.

Vera Cruz Totonaca terracotta male head C 500 AD said to be from Chachalacas Vera Cruz Mexico ( Old note inside ). A fantastic modeled terracotta head with great detail. Size H 2.5"

Mayan Decorated Cylinder. 10 ¼” x 4 1/4” Circa 600 A.D. – 900 A.D. A tall, polychrome decorated vase having a wide center band two large Moan birds, a sea shell. Upper band of well developed, painted glyphs. Wide lower band containing four large circlular elements. Repaired from several large original pieces. Some areas of root marks minor paint loss. Provenance: Ex. Prof. Hugo Munsterberg (1916 – 1995) Collection. Acquired from Andre Emmerich, 1974.

Pre-Columbian Mayan Cylinder Vase – Honduras. Circa. - 600 – 900 A.D. Classic period. 7 1/2” x 7 ½. Displays Warriors and Nobles with fish faced glyphs encircling upper band. Repaired from approximately 9 pieces, root marks and numerous mineral deposits. Provenance: Hilton Collection, Santa Monica, Ca. Collected in the 1960s. A Veracruz stone yoke circa 250-950 AD in characteristic U-form, the thick implement with polished surface except for the outside. A flat top, the sides tapering slightly downwards. The end of each arm is relief- carved with an ornate pattern of complementary bands and scrolling plumage-like motifs. Remains of a red pigment in a speckled grey-light green stone. Minor restoration. Length 15", width 14".On a presentation stand. Provenanace: Southwest College Auction, La Mesa, CA.

An unusually large and well-made amulet of a bird, carved from hard black stone, Pre-Columbian Moche Culture, Early fase 100-300 AD.

In an exceptional quality, also for the material. Finely carved, symethric and with very sharp details. Elongated base pierced for suspension. Part of a small selection of high quality amulets from the Lyngbye Collection.

A seated figure of an emaciated male holding a tube above a small pot. The upper tip of the tube (or staff) is missing, an ancient loss. A minor chip to the end of the nose. Extensive deposits, as can be seen in the photos. The figure measures 9" in height. An expressive,authentic figure.

West Mexican Black Burnished stucco tall sided bowl, nice shape well made with a great feel . there are chips and repair. The bowl matches one of our listings of a pair of Pre Columbian statue arms each holding a similar bowl with an offering. Size 2.5" by 5.5"

Exceptional detail and design on this very large 13 1/4" wide x 4 3/4" tall pre-Columbian Mayan tri-leg bowl with rattle legs depicting birdman dancing. Several large pieces reattached. Beautiful original paint on interior and exterior. Awe-inspiring display as is or have Stoetzerinc restore.

Attractive, intact large spouted jar with broad strap handle, c. 900-1300 AD.

Finely made, very sharply symethric piece with decoration along the upperpart. Very old collection tags still glued to the base.

This Classic Mayan mother-of-pearl figurine is 1 1/8" wide. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin. Although I could not capture it in photos, it is nicely opalescent. It would make a very unusual jewelry finding. It is C300-900AD.

A large and attractive globular jar with twin handles and decorations on the upper part of the blackware vessel, Chimú c. 900-1400 AD.

Size: 18-19 cm. tall and 18-19 cm. wide.

Condition: Good Very fine, intact with two very small holes repaired.
