This circular box with domed lid displays a well-painted scene of a lady standing in a rocky garden, holding a banana leaf and a sprig of flowers. The enamels are rendered in meticulous detail in a pallet of greens, aubergine, yellows, reds and shades of blue. On the sides of both the box and lid, there are three cartouches outlined in blue with a peony sprig in each...
Late 19th century Chinese Canton enamel footed shallow dish painted in polychrome enamels with 2 different stands holding various archaic bronze vessels with leaves and flowers, and bamboo tubes tied with a knot - one of the Emblems of the Eight Immortals. Cavetto with painted flowers on yellow background, outside is enameled light green. Beautifully painted, few faint lines of crazing, overall in great condition. Wonderful item for a scholar’s desk. Length 4 1/2 inches.

Fine Canton Enamel Saucer Dish decorated with figures in a mountainous landscape. The reverse with fruiting vine and a stylised dragon. Mid 18thC. Diameter 16.5cm. Condition: very good, a few usual stress lines.
This unusual Chinese export enamel and silver filigree Foo dog is 5 ¾” high (with base is 7” high), 4” wide and 2” thick. The Foo dog sits on a globe with its mouth open. Three small coral and turquoise pieces are missing from his head. Most of lacquer finish on the wood base has worn off. Otherwise, it is in fairly good condition.
