This is a BEAUTY. This BRONZE QUAN YIN is Mounted on a Hardwood Base and measures 6 7/8" in height overall; the BUST itself is 4 1/2" tall X 3" wide.
Asian Calligraphy mark on the back. Note the Hair "Pulled and Tied" in the back. This BRONZE QUAN YIN is from a Virginia Estate of Asian Atrifacts and ANTIQUES. Date this piece circa 1900, perhaps earlier, and in Excellent Condition.
Cast and turned bronze vase. Decor of bamboo, rocks and Greek friezes incised and inlaid with silver wires. The bronze has a beautiful original patina. It lacks inlays that have come off over time.

A tall elongated squared baluster form vase with vertical flanges to the corners and lion mask handles to the neck. Decorated with Taotie panels to the body and smaller lingzhi panels to the neck possibly cast and chiselled and parcel gilding.

Authentic rare ancient Chinese, Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), silver – inlaid, thinly cast bronze, circular hand mirror. The front of the mirror is decorated with silver inlaid with three lotus leaf motifs near the outer rim; the inner site has remains of the silver plating.
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, with beautiful green patina showing its age and usage. The mirror originally had a handle which at some point was broken off...

An old Chinese brass furniture lock. Unusual dog form where the tail closes the clasp in the back of the dogs head. A separate key pushes the tail clasp apart from the dog's body. Three pieces total. Good condition with old, accumulated surface patina. Probably 19th century. Would work nicely for an antique Chinese furniture collector. Length, about 4 1/2 inches from end of the dog's looped tail to tip of its nose (doesn't include any additional extension when the key is inserted)

Two(2) Chinese Brass oval shape Gallery Trays, Ca. 1870, Etched Peony Flower Branch with broad leaves on top with beautifully lined up Gallery rim, and supported by four(4) round feet, etched mark "CHINA" on the bottom. This small Gallery Tray can be used for cosmetic make up things and also scholar's pin and other desk items. The condition is good.
For women of indigenous cultures, sewing needles were often hard to come by and considered valuable tools. Commonly, among such groups, cases were specifically designed to protect and safeguard the sewing. This particular antique silver needle case is from the Chinese Miao ethnic minority group and would have been worn by the women as a decorative costume ornament during festival.

DESCRIPTION: A heavily cast, six-sided Chinese pewter teapot, the domed lid mounted with a foo dog and the base raised on six feet. Latter Qing Dynasty (19th C.) and in good condition with light usage wear. DIMENSIONS: 8 ¼” high (21 cm) x 7 ½” wide (19 cm).
DESCRIPTION: An attractive oval brass box, the hinged lid decorated with a carved carnelian stone at the center with raised brass leaves on either side. Signed at the interior lid, such a box might have been used for snuff, jewelry, cosmetics or medicines. This attractive little box is in excellent condition and dates from the first quarter of the 20th C. DIMENSIONS: 2 ¼” long (5.7 cm) x 1 1/8” wide (2.9 cm) x 1” high (2.5 cm).
